For the record - this is one wild podcast. Not Afraid talks about Pinocchio at Disneyland. Cadaverous Pallor reviews the original novel. You will hear one of the oddest ride-thrus ever recorded. Plus, I got to watch Pinocchio with my dad and then interview him about his memories of watching the movie when he was 4 years old.

Dig it.

Great show, Jesse!

And congrats to all of us swankers for making an impressive show of numbers on this episode. (CP, NA and a brief cameo from yours truly.)

Jenny - Oh my flippin' gracious, you've got a fantastic voice! Someone should pay you lots of money to read audiobooks.

Give it a listen, everyone! Lots of great music too! (Love that Cliff Edwards "Fascinatin' Rhythm!")

Jenny - Oh my flippin' gracious, you've got a fantastic voice! Someone should pay you lots of money to read audiobooks. Thanks for the encouragement. I thought I sounded terrible, of course, but when Flippyshark says "flippin'", you know he means it. ;)

I'm trying to download it at the moment, but either my connection blows or Jesse's being swamped.

Jen, you didn't sound as bad as I did. I can hardly tell you've got a cold. I'm just hard to understand and my voice got so difficult near the end (I had a giant coughing fit and Jesse has it on tape too). UGH.

Wow, I did sound a lot better than I felt that night - only I can hear the stuffed nose.

Many thanks to Jesse, who is indeed a Rock Star. I mean, the segue between Flippyshark and my bit was spot on, babe! Hey FS, it was a shark after all!

Great report, Lisa! I hadn't even thought about how underrepresented Pinocchio was at DL on opening day.

The ride through cracked me up! That is totally what we sound like on the dark rides. I'll never tape us riding Mr. Toad, it would be far too embarrassing.

The interview with your dad brought an interesting aspect to it, and in the end it was very touching. You big softie.

Wow, a whole year of this! I'm excited for the future of the Mousepod!
