Does anyone know how one goes about studying abroad? Let's say someone you know really likes theatre but has had no training and would like to study it in London. How would you go about it?

I have studied many broads. Some up close, some in pictures or movies. I've never studied one in London per se, but I don't see why it would be that much differnt than here in Ameri.....
Oh. Wait. Never mind.

I would look into a university and see what programs are available. Often there are programs that last anywhere from a few weeks, to a few months... some go a year or two. They'll have an office with at least one person manning a cubicle for stuff like that, too. Plus, you can get some kind of recognition for it, and it looks good on resumes, even if you aren't doing it to finish a degree or fulfill a requirement.

THis somebody also needs to be brought up to speed about the performing laws about being cast in a show in London... outside of school.
This tends to be a tough lesson for US transplants.

And I just need a scholarship to study art in Paris.
Lemme know what you find out, G.C., and we can visit back and forth via Chunnel. :iSm:

I think this person just wants to study there. But I'd love to hear about it. I'll let him know.

And a grant for me to sit in parisian cafes, sipping coffee and philosophising about hedons and aesthetics and enuie...
Of course, if Paris is taken - I'll pack my black Turtlenecks and head to Berlin to become a perfomrnace artist and Dance Club Entrepeneure.
