Oh Girl Scout cookies... how I love thee.
It's cookie time again and while I sit here waiting for the email that my cookies have arrived I savor a Samoa from a box someone at work so graciously brought in.
Do you try new flavors or stick to old favorites? Have you seen any booth sales (I can't find any in South County :()?
Let's talk cookies.

I had good intentions of ordering cookies from my favorite girl scout.... I really did.
I forgot... I have no cookies...
If her mother is listening... I'm sorry. Can I send up some funds, you can buy some for me at site sales and I dont know... give them away?
Share with LoT's when you see them next? Use at sleepovers?

Alright, I'm gonna need to see a birth certificate. I think we were separated at birth.

I got my box of Tagalongs today from a coworker. Not only are they not labled Tagalongs anymore (now called Peanut Butter Patties, guess the old name wasn't descriptive enough) but it seems like the boxes have shrunk! There are only 16 cookies in there, at 4 bucks a box! What a freakin' ripoff.
Pretty soon they better change their campaign to "Donate $4 to the Girl Scouts and you'll get this free cookie as a bonus!"

CP, here in my county, they are still called Tagalongs and they are addictive. I do enjoy the Samoas a LOT.
and.... $4?!?! We sell em here for $3.50. Holy cow!

No one came to my door this year for preorders.
But I did get one box of Thin Mints from infront of the local Stater Brothers.
I will eat the last of them today at 4pm.

Anxiously awaiting my overdue order, I purchased a box of Thin Mints from a troop lying in wait in front of a Sav-On. They told me that delivery bugs were causing problems with the shipments.
'Natch, my order of two more boxes of Thin Mints arrrived the very next day.

Hmm, i suppose I should go find the coworker from whose daughter I procured 5 boxes and actually pay for them, eh?

I love those Thin Mints! I got one box and ate the entire box in one minute. I won't go out and buy more. I just had to have the fix and call it a day. Either that or I'd be stuffing my face with Thin Mints.
BTW, has anyone seen the Ice Cream? I think its Beyers or something.
