Probably not, but I thought I would throw it out there: we've got a bunch of CD jewel cases (500+) if anyone wants any. We've putting them into sleeves to save space.

What's been weird about this project is that I keep running across CDs that I know I never bought, have no interest in, and have NO idea where they came from

Libraries would LOVE to have them. We were always buying cases to replace the ones that constantly broke. If your local library won't take them, please give them to Orange Public Library. :)

Duly noted - thanks for the heads up!
We weren't going to throw them away; we would have taken them to Goodwill.

Free to good home: 19" CRT computer monitor
With condensing our computers down to one desk in the red room, I simply cannot keep the big CRT any longer. Hate to throw out working electronics. Please take it!

Don't throw it out! It should be ewasted. Here is a free drop off location really close to you. (http://www.gogreenwm.com/images/Lake-Forest.jpg)

Yeah, I'd still rather it stay in circulation though. E-cycling is the functional equivalent to "throwing it out" to me.
Thanks for the list though... I have other stuff that needs dropping off!

Donate it to a thrift store.
The last time I tried to donate a CRT, they wouldn't take it. So donating is probably still an option but you might want check ahead before lugging a big one around.
(And can I say that this topic of conversation has caused me to reflect on how obscene it seems to give up that much desk space to a monitor and yet it was completely normal a few years ago; though when I see 72" TVs advertised it makes me wonder if we haven't gone down a bad path.)

...though when I see 72" TVs advertised it makes me wonder if we haven't gone down a bad path.Agreed, when there are 80" models available (http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20112312-1/sharp-unveils-affordable-80-inch-television/).
Should have been clearer:
"when I see 72" TVs advertised as Black Friday loss leaders..."

I had a client offer me an obscenely large flat screen tv that had a small crack in it. I turned it down - not because of the crack, but because I don't want anything that large in my house!

smart move. I got a pretty large TV from someone awhile back for a steal. big ass 32+ something screen etc. old school, non flat box type TV. weighed a ton and unless it was the only thing running in the house, every time Id turn it on it sucked all the power out of the house and tripped the breaker. couldnt get rid of that POS fast enough to suit me.
I'll stick with my el-cheapo 27" thank you bery mulch.

Mine's not obscenely large at 55" but I love it. A friend's husband went out and got a 72". They have a very small living room and ended up returning it because it was giving them vertigo.

Anyone have an HP inkjet printer that takes the 02 cartridges? I had to replace the printer so I've got extra cartridges now. Of course I'd just stocked up on backups when it died. If anyone can use them I'd be happy to send them along.

If anyone can use them I'd be happy to send them along. My parents' church has a printer that uses those. If no one local claims them, I can send along the address. I'm sure they would appreciate the donation.

Because they're sitting in a closet unloved and not displayed. They need a better Disney home than mine. :(Pshaw. All of us have them socked away. If we displayed all of our keepsakes from over the years we'd drown in it. I'm keeping mine as a family history piece more than anything.

When I was little, my mom hung a long narrow shelf about 18" from the ceiling along one wall of my room to display dolls. I was kind of thinking something similar with mouse ears would be cute. You know, one of these days...

Phototron. You pick up from Hemet-ish area. Older model with slight interior flaking of reflective material. Works great. Don't want to move it. We move in 2 weeks, so you'd have that long before you'd HAVE to come and get it - but the sooner the better for me.
Also have a day bed (currently taken apart or I'd post a photo) with a trundle bed under it. You'd need mattresses.

LOL... It's an older phototron we got for free. It's a small moving truck and we're making one trip. Nevada laws aren't quite as liberal as California's law, unfortunately. But the bottom line is I'm getting rid of all sorts of stuff because we just don't have the room to move it. I have to get our stuff down to half of what it was when we moved in - and we've acquired more since moving here of course.
