I was out yesterday with my aunt shopping for a digital camera and fell in love with this (http://www.digital.pentax.co.jp/en/compact/optio-s6/feature.html) beauty.
I currently have a Canon Powershot S30 that I bought after NA and Euro recommended it. I love how the Pentax is so much smaller, and takes SD which Shiny has a card reader for.
Does anyone have experience with Pentax?

Does anyone have experience with Pentax?Don't know much about the Pentax (sounds too much like Kotex - who wants to take a picture with a tampon?!?) but Susan and recently purchased the Sony DSC T7 (http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=DSCT7&Dept=cameras&CategoryName=dcc_DIDigitalCameras_style_ultracompa ct) and have been absolutely thrilled with it. One of the key features that we liked is it's incredibly small form factor: 3 5/8" x 2 3/8" x 5/8". Yes, only 5/8" thick!

Yes! I have tons of Pentax experience as I buy all our companies cameras. We have Pentax 4's up to the 6s and love them all. They are durable and haven't broken (except for one which they are fixing under warrenty) and this is great compared to the last batch someone else bought in which they ALL broke - some twice!
I highly recommend them - they are small and take REALLY nice pics.
Some of ours take AA batteries and some use the rectangle lithiom one... they go through the AA batteries fairly quickly - but the lithiom one holds a charge for a good long time and you could always buy a spare for a trip if you don't think you'd be able to charge it.

We hav a Pentax. Our biggest complaint is that it doesn't take particularly good night shots. Otherwise we love it.
