Has anyone heard from our Bear?
Or from.. the gal in NZ who's name I cant remember?
(I'll find it I'm sure after I submit this)

I am thinking we haven't heard from the Beary one in a while...I hope he is ok, both weather and health wise.

New Zealand is about 1,000 miles away from Australia, separated by the Tasman Sea. I was in NZ when the cyclone hit Oz. No effect in NZ.

Does Lashbear live in the NE part of Oz? I thought he lived in Sydney.

I thought he was out of Sydney now... but I was unable to locate his current address to verify this.

I had sent an email to Lashbear asking how he was holding up. I hope he does not mind me posting his reply:
Yes, the "Big Blow" has missed Sydney, so our Opera house is intact (I got to see the Queen) and all is well in the Lashbear household.
Hopefully he can get back on the boards soon to give his own description of the storm and what it was like seeing the Queen.
