Okay, I know we were all kinda disappointed by the Song Tapper...but I promise this is better.
http://www.20q.net
My friend had a handheld version of this. You think of something, anything. It asks you up to 20 questions, then guesses what you're thinking of.
The first time I did it, I thought of a baseball bat. After 20 questions, it came up with cricket bat (I may have answered one question wrong). If you say it's wrong, it'll ask a few more questions and try again. After a couple more questions, it got baseball bat.
I just tried again, this time thinking of a carboard box. After just 18 questions it got "cardboard". I pressed it a little and by question 26, it got Box (cardboard).

Gah! I was thinking of a breath mint. After 18 questions it guessed "Laundry Detergent". I said no. It asked 1 more question...then got breath mint! This thing rules!

You were thinking of a baby.
Is it a lazy animal? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Will it eat almost anything? You said Yes, I say No.
Does it stink? You said Yes, I say Doubtful.
It took 26 questions to guess fork, but it was my first time and I think I might have been doing it wrong. It's gotten the others in 18 or 19. Cool find!

Dang. That thing and I are on different wavelengths. I boggled its mind with:
- record album
- flea collar
- can opener
it didn't get any of those, and then, when I told it, it detailed all the reasons I was wrong. (Apparently, a record album "lives above the ground" but a flea collar does not!)

Omg!!!
I almost had to kill a friend of mine over this. Around Christmas, it was very busy in our salon and Mikey calls to sneak in for a quick haircut. Mind you, I am booked out at least three months, but he always manages to weasel in on a cancellation. This time, I was totally booked up but I agreed to stay late if he behaved himself and turned his cell phone off. (He's a regional manager of a big loan op, and is permanently attached to that damned phone). So, he comes in sans phone, but with this little contraption that guesses what you're thinking of in 20 questions. He insisted on me and everyone else in the shop testing it out.."Okay, think of something!" It took about triple the time to get through his haircut that it normally takes.
( His wife told me that later on they were getting all settled in to go to sleep. She turns the light off and a few seconds later she hears "Okay, think of something!" She told him he didn't want to know what she was thinking of..)

And apparantly it thinks the answer to "Does a pair of pliers like apples" is "doubtful".
It's a little idosynchratic with some of its answers, but it still gets something at least close within the 30 questions before it gives up. Oddly, "permanent marker" isn't in its database, though "dry erase marker" is.

It does not have "baby chick". It does have "chick" referring to a girl. Not surprisingly, they are listed as annoying ;) I think since I clicked "chick" I confused it a lot.
This thing is awesome otherwise.
It didn't get congressman or USB cable. It did get submarine.
When it compared my answers with what it thought would I should have answered it disagreed on whether a USB cable can be painted.

It didn't get congressman or USB cable. It did get submarine.
When it compared my answers with what it thought would I should have answered it disagreed on whether a USB cable can be painted.Yeah, it tends to have a poor definition of "can it be". Most of the time it means, "Is it usually"...but that doesn't even hold.
I also did a "something to do with sex" one. What disturbed me is that in the wrap-up, it disagreed with me on the question "Does it have an exo-skeleton?" I said no. Not quite sure what it's having sex with...
Before it figured out that it was something to do with sex, it guessed "pleasure". I gave it a "close".
And while trying to see if I could get it to come up with tampon, it asked, "Is it colorful?" I said "sometimes", it disagreed.

This is because republicans are independent thinkers that cannot be defined, unlike democrats.:)

Yeah. Unfortunately those seem to have been intriduced fairly recently, so they have a lot less input to work with. Leads to much less accuracy.

A penis?!? Then you certainly gave the wrong or misleading answer on some of the questions...
23. Can you eat it? No.
OK, maybe not in the strict sense of the word...
11. Does it make something move? No.If it starts poking in the wrong places, you'll see LOTS of movement!
10. Is it used by a baby? Sometimes.
Ew. Ew. Ew. Never, ever used BY a baby. Sure, it's used to MAKE a baby. But used BY a baby?!?
7. Does it have eyes? No.Have you never heard of the "One Eyed Trouser Trout?"
Does it jump? No.Treat it right and/or treat it wrong and it most certainly will jump!
4. Can you buy it? No.Well, maybe not "buy" but women certainly can own it!
2. Does it live in grass-lands? Sometimes. And usually not nearly enough time is spent in the "grasslands" if ya catch my drift ;)
