Our office parking lot is almost flooded. I'm sure the one at home has flooded by now.

And the freeways are quickly becomming parking lots.

I love SoCal in the rain :D

PSA: Bring a plastic bag with you if you visit a public library in the rain.

Thank you. :tiki:

I love the rain. But, driving in it is a challenge in So Cal. Just DRIVE people! The world is not coming to an end!

It seems that whenever Seattle is having a dry spell, we're getting nailed.

Beats the hell out of snow, though.

Hawai'i got totally nailed. I just heard that one of my former places of employment got washed away at Kahala Mall. Ha ha. Apparently a wall fell at the Kahala Theatres and flooded the entire first floor and basement. D'oh!

It freaking poured in the middle of the night by us. Woke us both up at around 1AM. It sounded like it might have been hail, but I don't think it was near cold enough. I think it was just a very strong wind blowing rain against the window.

At the moment it is so windy that I keep looking for water spouts or tornados.

And, SNOW in Boston? Packing is going to be a BITCH!

Totally. I'd pack for sandstorms and hail as well.

How in the hell do you pack for sandstorms?

I left my kaftan in my storage unit.

Heheh, I thought NA was posting about digging out parking spaces, using a boston typing accent.

At first I thought it was a typical typo. Then I thought it was a brilliant accent mockery. Then I realized it was neither. Bah.

Sorry to disappoint. I'm thinking practical at the moment. Boring.

Hail can happen without it being too cold down on our level. A few weeks ago, I was in Costa Mesa when it started hailing, and it wasn't cold out at all... a touch cool, but certainly far from freezing.
