This guy (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4776181634656145640) is pretty damn amazing. I've never seen anything quite like it. I can't imagine how much practice this must have taken.

Got a video error... :(
The guy apparently draws a lot of flak from the juggling community. Apparently what he does isn't actually very difficult on the technical level and it pisses off professional jugglers when people ask them to do something like this guys act.
Or so I'm told. When I first saw this video a few months ago it was in a long blog post somewhere laying out the controversy surrounding him (he is primarily a comedian).
But to me that is like bitching that ice dancing sucks because it isn't as technically difficult as Sasha Cohen's long program (when in fact, it sucks because it is ice dancing).

I've seen a couple of Cirque juggling acts that could kick this guy's ass.

Being a bit of a juggler myself, I really enjoyed this, despite the lack of "technical" difficulty. When I first saw it, I remember commenting to CP how I kinda liked the fact that he didn't do the standard juggling finale of throwing as many balls as you can in the air. Sure, that's incredibly difficult and impressive, but once you've seen someone jugle 10 balls, seeing 11 or 12 or 13 becomes progressively less interesting to watch. At least this was interesting. Something doesn't have to be difficult to be entertaining.

To me, what made it most impressive, whether or not, it is technically difficult, is the fact that it synchs damn near perfectly with the music from start to finish. I found it to be far more artistic and entertaining than most juggling I've seen, which usually bores me.
Eh, to each his own, I suppose. :)

I would have to agree with you there! Viktor Kee comes to mind as an amazing juggler for me. He was the most fun to watch. He even participated in a juggling festival here in the NW.
I love to watch most juggling though. I think it's because I couldn't juggle to save my life:blush:

I wasn't impressed, really.
Now, these guys are impressive (and hilarious too):
Moonie & Broon (http://www.moonieandbroon.com/MooNiE%20and%20Broon.html)
Broon even juggles bowling balls. And Moonie juggles with his mouth, plus is excellent at contact juggling too. Check out some of their video clips.
I've watched their shows many times, including one in Burbank back in January.

There's also this version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1fcIq0Js30&search=jason%20garfield) by another juggler, plus this blurb from Dateline. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_7MEXeunmI&search=jason%20garfield)

(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_7MEXeunmI&search=jason%20garfield)So I suppose if someone makes a video where he juggles 6 balls (and one more ball than however may balls that guy had at the end), then that dude is a sucky poser as well?

Hey, I just thought some people might be entertained by the pseudo controversy. Apparently not. Oh well.
