Check out this highly evil tale (http://blogs.ittoolbox.com/security/investigator/archives/008976.asp) of revenge wrought on a C-Level executive by geeks. Yes, what they did is totally unethical, but ya know what, in this case I think the bastard deserved it!

I hope you fully vetted this story before posting it. Otherwise the local snopes cop is gonna get ya. ;)

I could find nothing on Snopes matching this, but since the author explicitly points out, "ANYTHING posted to my site by myself or a reader is HIGHLY EDITED before it hits this site", verifying it may be challenging.

As her deputy, I've done the preliminary research...no mention on Snopes as far as I can tell.
Note to self: Don't use work email for kiddie porn subscriptions.
It reads a bit too much like the sysadmin version of "Dear Penthouse Letters, I never thought this would happen to me..."
But a good story whether true or not. If nothing else I can vouch for the fact that anytime a server fills up and it turns out someone has a 100GB .pst file it is going to be someone who can walk into the CEO's office unannounced and call him by his first name.

I trust "my deputy" did his work. The geek touches make it sound real, as does the somewhat forgone conclusion (managers were sacked).
This story reminds me that for every roach uncovered there are hundreds more, and that this guy was lucky.
