Well, we're just about finished with the transfer from Tiki Patio to Tiki Dining Room. And, I'm getting these to finish off the whole experience:

http://www.unifiedenterprisescorp.com/products2.html (Scroll down to the third item - it's the real stuff, from Hawaii.)

:cool:

Then, we'll get to test how many LoT'ers can fit in our apartment. ;)

Very cool!:snap::cheers::snap:

Now, to make it a truly Tiki experience, you have to have a long line for the Whips, and at least two obnoxious people trying to cut in front of everyone.:D

....and a guy like me eating the whips too fast and nearly passing out from brain freeze.

Please do post a report on how authentic the results are. If it works out, I foresee a run on those little soft-serve machines.

Have you got photos of your Tiki-fied digs?

Yes, we have Dole Whip too! Tom got it for Christmas from my parents, along with $ for an ice cream maker we have not purchased yet. My parents had to buy a 5-bag case of it; one bag makes a zillion servings. Hee!

So you could add the rum right in during the process. That's convenient. ;)

I don't have photos but can vouch for the Tikification of the digs.Photos won't be coming until end of May. I just got notice that the thatching I ordered for the bar canopy is out of stock and won't ship until the 23rd. :(

But, that gives me time to order the soft serve maker and the bags of whip mix. I'm dying to try the raspberry whip also. :D

It's gonna be the perfect dessert after some bacon-wrapped asparagus skewers on the barbecue this summer! :snap:

As one who has had the lucious bacon wrapped asparagus at the Tiki Hut, my mouth is watering.

So you could add the rum right in during the process. That's convenient. ;)Oh, of course, we're planning on coming up with an "official drink" for our Tiki experience involving Dole Whip, but we're still trying to come up with a name for it. I was thinking of Dole WhippED, but that's kinda boring and lame. Any suggestions??

Heehee, tiki god makes me laugh.

If I were making a tiki drink I'd call it "Drinky Drinky" after Maynard's Tiki Boy spiel. :D
