I watched 'Grey's Anatomy' for the first time last night to see Ralphie's sister on the show. Jenn's an actress and got a bit part playing a Teri Schiavo-esque character in the show. She'll be on again tonight being that last night's episode was a two part thang.

The director of the episode said that Jenn 'played dead well' which I thought was pretty hysterical. Apparently, it's hard sometimes for certain actors to play dead while people are wailing and screaming and arguing around them. The instinct is to react and if you're dead, you can't... Unless you're in a zombie film or something.

Ralphie and I were a little bummed because she didn't get a credit at the end. Bleh. No speak, no credit. Bleh.

Although I'm happy for Jenn, I can't see why this show is so popular. It sucks. The acting and writing are horrible. None of the characters are believable...

Anyway, if you catch it tonight, keep an eye out for dead girl. I think her name is/was Kendra or something like that...

Jenn also did voice over work in 'Rejected' and a couple of other Don Hertzfeldt shorts...

she got some air-time again this morning on KTLA. 1.5 seconds maybe. about the same amount of time I got on the 05-05-05 highlight reel.

Cool, but I've never watched the show. I've never liked any medical drama, whether ER or House or whatever.

I used to watch ER a lot. Then Clooney left.

I've never been a big fan of medical dramas either...

 ooooh, GC, i just realized that my post may have implied her scene was very short. that was unintentional ...

in fact, she got lot's of air time in the show...

the Sam Ruben recap on KTLA morning news was what i meant was brief... sorry if my OP sounded smarmy...

KTLA has been showing her in the scene several times this morning.:snap:

That is one of my husbands favorite shows, so of course we watched the episode. She played a brain dead person very well! It looked like her head was shaved, I don't think I could do that.
If only her parents decide to keep her alive for the baby, then she could have a part for the next season. She wouldn't get to talk but she could get a lot more "on air" time!!
I'll tell my husband tonight about her.
Thanks GC, it's kind of cool to indirectly know of someone on a show I just watched!!

I know the outcome of the episode but can not say what it is. (Ain't I a stinker? :D)
She had to wear some sort of latex dealie on her head. She said it was awkward.

ML ~ No worries, didn't take it that way at all... :)

GD ~ "Look, honey, baby's taking his first steps..." Or something like that... :D

I never watch the show but happened to watch last night's. Cool!

Also, Denny the Magical Heart Patient, you are now my new TV crush. I'm going to watch the finale just for you, pal!

We watch Grey's Anatomy. We like it since we know that it is not a reality show. Good mindless entertainment.

Didn't get a chance to watch it last night. We had a minor family emergency to attend to, we were on the phones all last night. (All is well now.) We taped it though. From what I saw, it was 10 times better than Sunday's episode. A much better director was involved with this ep. Didn't see Jenn. She may have been cut from the episode.

They didn't touch on that storyline at all last night. Considering where the cliffhanger is, I'm assuming not much time can pass between seasons. So there is a chance her story could return next year.

That sounds cool!

Perhaps in the future she could team up with Kevin Costner in a remake of the Big Chill (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Chill_(movie)). :D
