I know it's coming.

Sinuses are blocked.

No energy

Joints are starting to ache.

Time to go home and wrap up in a blanket like a big Scrooge burrito with extra cheese and just sweat it out.

How do you get over being sick?

Hot Theraflu. Knocks me out like a light when I'm sick.

I'm with scaeagles. Knock yourself out. I always find that what gets me well the quickest is plenty of sleep and fluids. Hope you feel better soon!

Theraflu, eh? Hot sounds good right now, and anything's gotta taste better than NyQuil... well, except Jaegermeister

I just wallow in it and complain. Like I've been doing since Tuesday.

I also loooove to drink tea. I curl up in blankets with tea and a book.

DVDs. I love TV shows on DVD. Strangers With Candy, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Six Feet Under have gotten me through my last three bouts of stuffy/fever/body achey crap. All since November!!

Chicken Noodle Soup; homemade or Lipton's. It always makes me feel better.

If my sinuses are really blocked up, I go with some nasal spray (no more than a week, though). Otherwise I can't sleep at night.

Lots of liquids; hot tea, water, OJ, etc.

Asprin for the aches and pains.

Hope you're feeling better soon! :coffee: <----soup

Lol! I'm glad I'm not the only one who think Jagermeister tastes like cold medicine!

Feel better, Scrooge! Want me to send you my recipe for homemade chicken and noodles? I'd whip you up some, but it would probably taste pretty scrody by the time it got down to your locale.

My personal therapy is lots of fluids and Hostess cupcakes, since when I'm really sick it's the only food I can reliably keep down. And a healthy dose of daytime teevee. Hopefully another episode of man or woman? on Maury Povich.
