If you would like to take some classes in balloon art and maybe become a Certified Balloon Artist, All-American Balloon Supply in Santa Ana, CA has some classes.
It is also a neat place to check out.

There is some wonderfully creative stuff in there.
I had a balloon art book as a kid and was surprised at how easy it is with step by step instructions. I can still make a standard dog.
While in Alaska we saw a guy who made sculptures of anything and everything out of pipe cleaners. Cartoon characters, animals, people, all kinds of stuff, and really well done too. I looked around the web to find pictures of any other pipe cleaner artists but there's nothing like him out there. Should have gotten pictures! These balloons totally remind me of his stuff.

My hair is on end just from thinking about the noise heard while making those.
