Konnichiwa all,
I thought I'd post this separately, as it really belongs in this travelly-type forum.
We're going to Japan in 2007, and have finalised the dates for Disney and Tokyo.
We will be in Tokyo from 31st March to 20th April, and we'll be staying in the Disney Ambassador hotel from 16th-20th April, so our 4 day park-hoppers will be on the 17th-20th April. *yay*
We woul love to meet up with any LoT-teries (or is it LoT-ites?) who can make it !
Ja Ne,

If we make it there, we'll be there the first few weeks of April, so we could definitely hang out. If I can actually save money and get a good deal on airfare we'll be there (probably).

Have you guys decided where you're staying besides at TDL? Just how small are the hotel rooms there?

we're staying HERE (http://www.tokyoryokan.com/) - it's only $30.00 per night per person !
GREAT location in Asakusa - the shopping capital of Tokyo, and really easy to get to.

Dahling, there's no furniture in their rooms. See? (http://www.tokyoryokan.com/roomrate_ryokantokyo.htm) (Scroll down.)
Is that why it's only $30 a night?
:D
Sounds like it's going to be a fabulous trip! Tokyo, okay, number one top destination tourist, go!

How much are hotels with actual beds for demanding westerners who can't sleep on the floor and be able to walk the next day?

I would like to stay at a Ryokan next time. I loved the Western -style hotel e stayed at but the Ryokan experience would complete the trip.
I'd love to go to Japan again.........

How the heck did you manage that?! I've never seen it for less than $350.
That Ryokan is adorable! I'd be seriously tempted by the price if they didn't charge me full price for a one year old and a four year old. For $120 I can get my own bathroom.
