My Brother and his family went on a camping trip with my Sister and hers((I sadly, had to work)) and although they had a pretty good time while camping their trip to and fro were anything but half the fun.

In order to get to the secluded campsite a 24 mile journey along a very rough dirt road was required. Along the way my brother notices a sizeable boulder in the road and easily avoids it but catches in his rear-veiw mirror our sister hitting it head-on with her drivers-side front wheel. Not only was the tire flat but the entire wheel was bent with no way to repair. They spent the next several hours dealing with this small tragedy before they could finally be on their way.

At camp that night everyone was wondering why my sister hit that boulder and her reply was that there was a cow a little ways off to their right that had her attention because she was afraid it was going to Bolt! Everyone had a laugh about that and my sister was the object of ridicule for the next couple days with just about everyone saying "watch out Amy, that tree looks like it's gong to Bolt", or other equally lame jibes. My brother, it seems, was the most relentless with the good natured ribbing.

Come time to leave and my brother, who loves to pack his car roof pretty high with cargo, asked my sister as he was packing if she wanted him to go slow back down to the highway "in case there are any more bolting cows".........

Almost to the point where the earlier incident happened my brother found himself slamming on his brakes for all he was worth to keep from hitting a cow that had "bolted out of nowhere" in front of his car. All of his cargo came flying off his roof onto his hood and the ground in front of him. He was so shaken that after they re-packed his roof and got under way again it took his wife shouting at him to avoid hitting the boulder in the road:D

But the question remains...how much did your sister pay the cow for the favor?
