He's got relatives in Spokane. I've been there. It's a scary, scary place.

I could skip class tonight? (yeah, twist my arm). Dindins somewhere? Takeout? Naked Anatomy Twister loud enough to frighten the new neighbors? Rent a movie? Lie on the couch like slugs?

Spokane's not bad, it's just not the west side. CDA on the other hand is a nice place ;)

Everyone swanks to their own beat, but in my mind a swanking can be had with little effort:

First off, I'd recommend cocktails be involved - something shaken, not stired and served in a cocktail glass. Of course, there are exceptions, such as a Mojito, which is swank in it's own right.

Second, you ought to work in some reclining. While one can engage in swank conversation upright, the swank is much increased when one is leaning back, legs in a relaxed possibly crossed position while a cocktail is delicately balanced in hand.

Third, esoteric conversation - banter about anything really, though you should pause to think about some nuance normally overlooked - the fashion involved in sporting uniforms, which pleasures create the most hedons - and devising the scientific method to test those theories, even the weather can be fine, especially if discussing the Punjab.

I think that will get you started...

I'd suggest that even if you choose to stay at home, you should wear something swanky, yet comfy. When you've got snazzy drapes, you're not being lazy, you're lounging.
