So, I perusing PetFinders the other day (don't ask) and I was looking at hairless cats because of the love affair I had with one in San Francisco. In the process, I found THIS CAT (http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=6070092).
His name is MOJO! We NEED him! Won't someone PLEASE adopt him?

I think € needs to have the same discussion with you that I repeatedly have with Susan about the difference between NEED and WANT.

Ugh, I wish we could. :( It just isn't possible right now as we are looking at a substantial rent increase in the next couple of months and it will be even more with a kittie. Not to mention the $750 additional deposit.
scaeagles, do MBC a favor and adopt this little guy for Lisa. Your kids will be astounded at your new found human qualities and might even take care of you later in life as a result.

I'm sorry, but it's the fur that makes the cat for me. I'm sure it's a nice animal and all, but I can't have a cat I can't pet. But that's just me. I hope he does get adoped though. And it would be cool if it was here!
Good luck MoJo, I hope your MoJo holds out for you!

My pug's name is Mojo :) I'd adopt this cat, but we live a bit far away, not to mention the confusion of having too much Mojo!

Maybe I'll take him. It would give a whole new meaning to "negative mojo".

Oh, man. I think I'm an animal lover until I see a hairless cat, and that's when I know my love is being tested. I just...couldn't. A one-eyed cat? I could love. A three-legged cat? I could love. A hairless cat? I could...I could...I could...uh.

A hairless cat fell in love with me in San Francisco. I thought, ewwwww, how could I love it back? 10 minutes later, he had me. Soft suede and the BEST personality I've ever seen in a cat - and I've got Charles!

Or purhaps it's a Cathuahua?
That would explain the genetic hairless mutation.
Which reminds me, do you know where you find a turtle with no arms or no legs?
Right where you left it!
Okay, my bad.

First of all... I'm not going to listen to any negative crap about chihuahuas. They're awesome dogs who bond with their owners. If they trust you, they're fantastic - if they are threatened by you, they'll let you know. Big personality - little animal.
Second of all - I witnessed NA's love affair with the cat in SF. € and I had to leave the bookstore and wait on the sidewalk while she sadly said her goodbyes in private.
Touching, I tell ya.

Funny, I never thought about it before, but most people either love them, or hate them. Strange how some things are like that. I knew two kids in school that hated cats so much they would brag about torturing and killing them. So, I hated those two idiots.
Frankly, I love all animals. I currently have two cats and a dog (not to mention Koi in the pond), but growing up I have also had everything from rats to salamanders, and hamsters to horny toads. Also a flock of Pigeons to a pair of Racoons (named Rocky and Roxanne). I love building fish tank ecosystems as well as back yard ones. We have lots of birds in the back yard from Humming Birds to Doves, and have had visits from large ones like Egrets, Great Cranes, and Owls. And I live on Blue Jay Lane! I also attract Butterflys and Dragonflies. I have friut trees and a veggy garden, all in a tract home lot of average size! I love it!

I think this cat looks kind of cool. You knitting people could knit him little sweaters.
