As a MOCA member, I of course am on thier mailing list. This Summer they have been having some cool Saturday night events (missed Gram Rabbit at one already) - Sadly they conflict with the cemetery screenings, but I wonder if we might want to consider this as a Saturday alternative on August 26 when Crystal Method will be playing. I've seen them at Coachella and the Bowl and have been amazed at their energy and show - who knew DJs could be so cool to watch?

Anyway, if not that, I think a trip to at least see the Rauschenburg exhibition might be in order. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks like a lot of fun.

Anyway, below is an excerpt from my latest email from them:

Here's the Cemetery schedule"

Aug 5- Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Aug. 12 - Psycho (for Hitchcocks Birthday)
Aug. 19 - The Searchers
Aug. 26 - Chinatown

Crystal Method or Polanski. That's a tough one. Why can't CM be the 19th. I'd miss a John Wayne film, even if I've never seen it.

Hmmmm - I do want to see the Rauschenburg though - anyone in to a Thursday night meet when the Museum stays open late and is free?
