Saturday night, 7:30pm, and I am the only one on the LoT.

Not even a guest or a spider.

I must be a loser.

Edited to add: WB must be too, as she posted that a mere 7 minutes after me.

Sorry, 7:35... I just got here.

Hey How about a drink? Hang on and I'll go get one.....

Okay, all I could find is Quervo Gold. I got a shot.......

Ready, GO!

There at least you don't have to drink alone.

I just got back from the movies at DTD. Saw Night Listener. Not that good. I wouldn't call it a Hitckocian thriller at all like some have. In fact is was a plot I've seen on CSI (they claim this was based on real events from 14 years ago, so CSI was based on this, if they are at all connected).

Six- I've been kind of intermittant, but I'm home on a saturday as well. Even sadder, I'm prepping for a slumber party for the kid tomorrow. She's got more of a social life than me.

Mine has her friend over right now for a sleepover. She has a way busier social calendar than I do.

katiesue

mineral water with lemmon here - rather have the stoli but need to be responsible adult, which sucks.

I had some Nilla wafers.

wendybeth

I understand, Katie- I'll probably be having Nilla wafers tomorrow as well. I'll be wishing I had Quaaludes, though.... Actually, Tori's friends are really fun. One of them has a CI, so I get to polish up on my pigeon signing skills. She mostly just laughs at me.

Rum and coke was the drink of the evening, but I'm all out of coke, and there's still 2 more movies...

wendybeth
08-05-2006, 11:41 PM

CoasterMatt

I actually had a social day. Yay vacation!

Oh, and peach schnapps with Sprite, followed by a fuzzy navel.

I had a fuzzy navel once, cuz I was wearing a wool sweater.

Thank you, Captain Morgan

This is why you're all supposed to move to Los Angeles. Because the Angelenos all come from somewhere (and they all go to cemetary screenings.)

RStar

Umm, what is a Cemetary Screening?

Attendance was de riguer for all swankers (unless you were working).

Non-localism no excuse; we had folks from Vegas.

I was drinking and watching 'The Shining', 'A Clockwork Orange' and 'Santa Claus Conquers The Martians'

Sorry, traveling coast-to-coast for one movie wasn't a possibility.

But I was jealous of you all!

So you are saying that going to a kids Bday party makes you a loser? Hmph! I was at a 5 year old bday party yesterday, and that does not make me a loser! Hmph, I say, as the parent of a four year old, who I discovered today could probably kick your butt, too!:)

Prudence

Yesterday's social whirlwind was followed up by today's violent early morning food poisoning body purge.

I win.

It's one thing to go to a five-year old's b-day party when you have a four-year old. We gots no kids.

Actually, there was a reason for this specific visit. We were dropping something off at the (relatively new) friend's house and just stuck around for some chatting.
