Hmm, brunch with the folks on Sunday. Don't think we'll make this one.

Awwww, really bummed about being hundreds of miles away for this one. The only movie-related trinket I own is an an autographed shower curtain. Someday I'll hang that in the guest bathroom. It will need a very special decorating touch, though.

Yes, but being conscious for brunch after a cemetery screening is no easy trick.

Dang, I can't make this one either -- yet ANOTHER wedding!!!

But I'll definitely see y'all the nite before to see my roommate make a Teddy Roosevelt out of hisself.

I'm not so sure about this one yet. I'm kinda burnt out on Psycho. I really wish they had chosen just about any other of Hitch's films to celebrate his birthday with.

I wouldn't miss this for the world...

Lots of guests believe my nickname is Psycho.

I've never seen Psycho (well the movie that is) but I have three 12 hour days to look forward to (+ the normal work week before and after).

OK, so apparently Lisa and Chris aren't going, Matt isn't going, and neither are we.

I'm with iSm on the choice of Psycho. Last year's choice of Stranger's on a Train was so much fun because we hadn't all seen it and memorized it. Felt more fitting to me to commemorate his birthday by seeing one of his more obscure films. Not that Psycho isn't awesome, or that it wouldn't be fun to see it with a crowd, but it just was't a choice that's gonna motivate me to get up there.

I'm burnt out. I'vebeen away from home for 7 nights and, even though I have to stay the night with some doggies tonight, I can at least be home for a bit. My boys need me.

Chinatown is the next one on our schedule - that's in 2 weeks.

I'm just gonna sit here and mope...

Sorry, Matt ... but not only am I burnt on Psycho .... I just don't want to do the cemetery on consecutive weekends - - unless there's some burning cinematic compulsion involved.

Yep, Chinatown's the next one for me.

(but in honor of Hitch's birthday, I'm gonna watch "Vertigo" tonight.)

It's ok - I didn't really wanna go unless friends were gonna be there, so it's not that big of a deal...

On a completely different note - This upcoming Thursday's Outdoor Movie at CityWalk is none other than "The Wizard of Oz"! I'll be attending a birthday get together at Saddle Ranch about 7, then stumbling over to watch the movie - iPod loaded with Dark Side of the Moon in hand :D

oh, wait ... what's that Oz/Dark Side of the Moon thing again?

I never got to try it, and now of course I've forgotten it.

I ended up going to HB pretty early today to go through some of my old stuff.

Is Chinatown scary?

Here's (http://www.ingsoc.com/waters/info/oz.html) a fun lil link about that strange bit of synchronicity.
