Hi all!

I need to have my wedding gown hemmed and bustled ASAP, so do any of you know a professional tailor or seamstress who could do it for $100 or less (preferably a lot less)? Anaheim or Long Beach area would be perfect, including in between those two cities, or within 10 miles of either.

Most bridal shops won't take me or want a hefty surcharge, because I ordered by gown online.

I need to have this taken care of sometime in the next week, so it will be done in time for the wedding.

My mother in law has a seamstress who is creating her whole dress from scratch for only twice your asking price, so I'm sure alterations would be reasonable. But I don't imagine you fancy going to Burbank. Sorry I can't be of more help!

And, I'll have time on a weekend or weeknight in October to go pick it up. :)

This prolly won't help, but Susan found a shop up in Brea (2 minutes from our house) that is hemming up her bridesmaid dress for her sister's wedding. It will be in the $60-$80 range. I thought this was expensive, but I guess this dress has multiple layers, Give her a call on her cell for details.
