I'd like to help my Chickie book some time at the Grand Californian Hotel.

She has an AP.

She was a bit overwhelmed at the prices she saw today for dates in the beginning of March.

I recall a time when the AP rates are released? When are we supposed to look for them?

And, I've also been able to get lower rates {most often} when I book closer to the date.

Any information, tips, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!!!

I'm looking for rates in Jaunary and they suck as well. Last year I got Disneyland Hotel for $99 AP rate in January, but the rate didn't show up until around the first week in January.

The great rates seem to show up about 3-4 weeks out. What I've done in the past is book a decent rate off property that I can cancel, then keep checking with Disney weekly trying to get a good rate on property.

Thank you, katiesue.

I think that is what I will suggest to her. I know I've gotten the GC for $139. for a standard room close to travel.

I wonder, if she made reservations at the GC but got a better rate if they would penalize her? I think she should be safe as long as she follows the guidelines?

And...not that I've ever done it but do they offer AAA rates for Concierge?
