OK - this is last second, but I just saw this. There is the broadcast of the Steve Irwin memorial playing (from the Crocoseum on Wednesday) as I type this (running from 9-10 p.m. PST) on Animal Planet. It is running again at Midnight tonight. According to my TiVo Guide, it says it is something else, but the Animal Planet site lists both the 9:00 p.m. (9/19) showing and a 12:00 a.m. (9/20) showing.
All times are PST
I will be recording it for a future viewing (neither Susan or I are ready to see this yet).

I tried to watch it. When Wes spoke I lost it and had to turn the channel.

It was amazing!!
I cried through some of it, but really lost it when they packed up his truck for the last time and drove it away for his "final journey". It was so symbolic, and while it was beautifully tear-jerking, it was just the closure I needed. It reminded me that Steve has only moved on to yet another journey, yet will always be with us via his legacy and inspiration.

I lost it when his daughter was talking...She has to be the most eloquent kid I've ever seen/heard. :snap:

She has her own show too - when the accident happened, he was filming some extra footage for her show.

Well, we TiVo'd Animal Planet at Midnight and that show wasn't the memorial. It is not showing as playing on the Animal Planet Web site, so it looks like I will not get to see it. Mega pisser.

I'm hoping it will make it's way online eventually. You can already see the Bindi clip (I haven't watched it yet). She has got to be the most amazing eight year old on the planet. Gorgeous too. Which is funny, because I find both of her parents to be quite average looking.

Saw clips of the service at the zoo on one of the t.v. shows.
Bindi is amazingly eloquent. Already so comfortable with the critters, as well.
And, since her looks were brought up, I saw both her mom and dad in her looks. Put together, a beautiful girl. {no girl wants to look like her dad and no boy wants to look like his mom!!!}
Quite a strong young lady.
Such a great loss for us all.

If not, it is available in parts on YouTube. :)
