New to me, so I hope I'm not reporting old news (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808475612/photo/stills).

No pics of the death eaters in this go round. I am glad to see they gave Ron a better haircut, that last one was bloody awful! Everyone is getting awfully T-A-L-L. And, you know, I know Imelda Staunton will be wonderful as Dolores Umbridge, she's just not looking squaty enough! And where are the bows in her hair?

At least in that one photo, poor Neville looks like a teenager with a combover.

Is it just me, or does Luna Lovegood looking a little like an early Draco?

Everyone is getting awfully T-A-L-L. And much older! But I want to know, is Neville getting a Longer bottom?

HA! Couldn't help myself. Sorry.

I think everyone expected them to get older, so it's not such a big problem to me, but at what point will the actors loose their charm I wonder?

Umbridge isn't nearly ugly enough. I envisioned her as a toad, no neck, just Jabba-style folds.

I wasn't too sure of her at first, but now I think I like her. I think she'll be a good Luna.

I think I have to see Looney Lovegood's acting before judging her...

Well, her pics convey a sort of earnest spaciness- I thnk she'll be fine. She does look a bit like Draco, though. What is it with wizards and bad bleach jobs?

Interesting take on Umbridge... They seem to have made her look motherly but we know she's pure evil.

No smiles allowed I guess for all promo ads of HP5. ;) (Except for the last one...)

I like Harry's hair...

So Harry's not as harry. It's shorter. That happends as kids get older.

Why is everyone so fixated on hair?

;)

Mmmm, I like Harry's hair this time. In fact, all three of the leads seem to have come rather nicely thru that, ahem, awkward stage exhibited in the last movie. I liked him more mop-headed when he was younger, but this seems to fit now that he's a so incredibly old.

Speaking of old ... what in hell happened to the Twins? Christ, they look like they're FORTY!

And, yeah, Staunon looks too sweet and untoadified for Umbridge, but I rely on her superb acting chops to pull it off.

I somehow always pictured Dawn French as Umbridge but I guess that would not have worked since she already plays "The Fat Lady".

Well, I've always felt, Miranda Richardson aside (and she was wonderful) but Jennifer Saunders would have also been wonderfully cast as Rita Skeeter.

Speaking of hair, I wonder what kind of weird do Helena Bonham Carter will affect for Bellatrix Lestrange? She does seem to have a fixation on hair styles in film (reel life, too).

Personally, I love the cat plates behind Umbridge's desk. Perfect.

Until the run of Equus, that is. Then at least the gay boys might be talking about something else.

I was amused that one of the extras from the group photo is listed as "slightly creepy boy."

Neville's gonna turn from geek to god eventually. He'll get a big new...wand, and then you'll see!

It could happen. Look at the twins!

You bet, he's got to avenge his parents. So, to derail this and thin about book 7, I hope Neville is not one who gets offed. I've always liked him. I'm a geek (see the geek or dork thread)

I do agree with iSm, the twins look really old, must be the lighting and the fact their 2000 watt smiles are turned off for the photos

Apparently Dobby won't be in Order Of The Phoenix

Dobby Missing From Harry Potter 5

MTV (http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1542581/10062006/story.jhtml) caught up with Toby Jones, who voiced house elf Dobby in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=16879#). The actor (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=16879#) says the character won't appear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=4661).

"I know that the filmmakers (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=16879#) have a problem with each new film (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=16879#) because the books are getting longer — there's so much to include in them," Jones said.

In the book, it is Dobby who both divulges to Harry the secret of the Room of Requirement and materializes to warn Harry that his secret hideout is no longer safe from the prowling eyes of the increasingly powerful Ministry of Magic informant (and new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher), Dolores Umbridge.

While we won't know how they will deal with those events in the film (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=16879#), we do know that another elf, Kreacher--servant to Sirius Black's estranged family--will make his first film appearance in "Order of the Phoenix."

The first teaser trailer is up for viewing here (http://www.harrypotterorderofthephoenix.com/)

Not a lot to see, but enough to make me think the battle at the Ministry is going to be good. Helena Bonham Carter looks perfect as Bellatrix Lestrange.

I'll see it opening weekend, but it will be competing with the San Francisco Silent Film Festival (which means my tush will be numb from 3 solid days of movies)
