and I missed the entire HBO program in real-time on their stations (I refuse to have HBO they do not show films in letterbox). bravo is rerunning the entire series and I just caught episode one. I am completely hooked, line and sinker. This show is going to be fabulous. Wickedly funny commercials for mortuary products. The whole shebang is in my netflix queue now, this calls for a marathon and maybe a party for Halloween.

FYI, they dropped the commercial thing, but I still enjoyed the quirkiness of the show through to the end.

I've only seen the 1st and 2nd seasons and the very last 2 episodes... But I love it. I think it is/was a great show.

I can totally see dropping the commercials, after all, how many products could they lampoon?

I love the pilot more than I love the rest of the show, unfortunately-- but I've seen all of it and enjoy it. I don't know if "enjoy" is the right word. It made me miserable many times.

I was a regular watcher the first season the just forgot about it (like I do with most TV). Plus, I no longer had HBO. So, I'm trying to remember that MONDAY NIGHT required 2 hour of TV time so I can re-watch season 1 and start the rest. It's a quirky show and the gay son is staring in a new series starting soon called "Dexter" that i would watch if I had the chanel.

I forgot about the commercials from the first season. Awesome show. I did the Netflix thing and finished the final episode this summer. All of the characters are so interesting, and highly disturbed. And how many possible ways can people die?? Trippy! I highly recommend this show.
On a "celebrity" sighting note: At the cemetery screening of "The Apartment", we sat just behind a group of couples which included the actresses: Kate Walsh who plays Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd from Grey's Anatomy and Tina Holmes who plays Maggie in the final season of Six Feet Under (strange character).
I have only 1-1/2 discs of Queer as Folk before finishing that series, too. Another provacativly wonderful show, although the final season is way too political. (Can't get enough gay porn!)

I've never caught an episode -- sounds like something I'll have to netflix now.
