First there was the online predator database (http://www.nsopr.gov/)that lets you see all the know pervs in your area, then came google earth (http://earth.google.com/)which lets you take a peek over that privacy fence in your neighbors yard but even with all that do you REALLY know who your neighbors are and what evil deeds they have done? Well fret know more. Visit this site (http://fundrace.org/neighbors.php)and see what type of people they really are.

It appears I live in an island of evil but at least we are predator free.

No predators in our immediate area, and the political contributions seem to lean toward Dems, which is kind of surprising given Spokane's very conservative history.

Not only are most of my neighbors extremely liberal, but now I know Janeane Garafolo's home address, and Garry Marshall's too! No surprise that Mrs. Bob Hope donated to Bush. Lots of industry folks on my street; I guess I'm one too, strictly speaking, although I've never donated 5 figures to anything.

VERY diverse neighborhood - which is what I prefer. All types of political leanings represented.

A slight edge to dems & independents where I am. Retirees overwhelmingly conservative.

Interesting. Now why do you suppose this is?

Garry K. Marshall (writer/director/producer) Donated $2,000 to John Kerry.

and

Ms. Barbara Marshall (housewife) Donated $2,000 to Kerry and $25,000 to the DNC.

Is he just cheap or is there some "technical" reason for his wife to do the bulk of the donation?

Super. Not only is there a slight edge to the Republican side, but the Democratic supporters favor the party wackos. Al Sharpton?!

The list for my zip code shows someone giving money to Al Sharpton. Amount: $5.

I wonder if that guy lost a bet.

Must be -- the other top donor was also a "housewife:" Mrs. Peter Casey.

I forgot to mention -- all those Hollywood types and only 4 pervs!! :D

ETA: I had one Al Sharpton supporter too! LOL

Nobody on my street contributes.... Interesting. However, my neighborhood is overwhelmingly Democratic. :)

The California Megan's law database lets me see what some of my clients look like. One of our old high school classmates is on there as well. I also use it to check out the parents of my kids' friends. Why not?

Lexis has a public records database. Sadly, it's now by subscription only, but it used to be pay as you go with a credit card. Searches were free, and you could use it to find people if they owned homes. If you sprang for the buck, you could read up on how much they paid for their house, square footage, how much they borrowed, refinanced, etc. I used it for work from time to time, but mostly it was a slimy time waster.
