You know those little icons next to the names of the favorites list in your browser? You know, MiceAge has it's MA. MousePlanet the MP, and LoT the neat litle logo? Well, for some reason LoT has comandeered the logo of several of my favorites. How does that happen?

Not that I mind or anything. I just have to look closely to make sure I get the right one....

According to this (http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showpost.php?p=101846&postcount=11), he uses IE.

Yes, thank you Wendybeth, it's IE.

And I just noticed that if I use the link (I tested to make sure it still worked, and it did) that when I went to that link's site and back, it changed the icon back to the proper one.

But why did my they change to LoT's icon in the first place? This has never happended with other icons. They were all older links that I haven't used in a while, like Google Maps. It's a mystery, but perhaps I should have posted this in the Egghead section. However, I'm just curious, but I know how to fix it now.

That has happened to me in the past. I use Safari at home and Firefox at work, and occasionally a tab will take the icon from another tab. It usually goes away after I restart. It has something to do with the cache, though I can't be more specific because I really don't know the details. Reloading the pages in questions usually works.

At home on FireFox, Mice Chat has been assigned the LoT icon forever and no amount of refreshing seems to break that link. The MiceAge icon; however, is associated with my personal photo website - so I guess we're even.
