What things, big or small, help you get through your day, give you that extra bit of joy, or are just damn indispensable to you?
Coffee. In the morning, I need it. Just one will get me through the day. Sometimes a second is good though (and a third and a...):D
Music. I love to sing. I also love to listen to music, live or recorded.
Concealer. At the moment I use Revlon Luminous Touch. It’s fantastic under my eyes, and down the side of my nose. Good stuff.
Lip balm. Kiehl’s #1 is my fave, but I use a million others too. All my jackets and bags have at least one lip balm (tinted or not) in them. I feel naked without it.
Fragrance. It just makes me feel nice. Again, I have a lot and change them pretty much every day, depending on how I’m feeling.
Nice underwear. It just makes you feel good.
Water. I drink a lot of it now. I keep a bottle by my desk and by my bed and now it’s just a habit.
The internet. Not sure I could live without it now.
I’m sure I’ll think of more later...

Definitely the internet...specifically The LoT, www.puzzle.jp/index-e.html (http://www.puzzle.jp/index-e.html) , Dave Berry's Weblog, MSNBC, and various comic strip websites. I would go insane.
Radio. Kevin and Bean in the morning, various lunch shows (usually STAR's 80s, but sometimes Jonsie's Jukebox), and KCRW for the ride home. That's assuming I haven't rotated the CDs in my car in a while. A CD often substitutes for all of those.
That's really it in terms of every day needs. My cup or 2 of earl gray used to be on the list, but I put an end to that the day I got a headache and nauseated because I didn't have my cup. Now it's about once a week that I have one.

Coffee, coffee, coffee. Starbucks in particular.
My iPod....I can't believe how much I love it! I listen to it at work, in my car, before I go to sleep....I love it.
TiVo....how did I ever manange to watch TV without rewinding it before? This weekend at my parents, I kept reaching for their remote....before remembering it's pathetic & useless & doesn't rewind.
Red, red wine, you make me feel so fine... I used to hate wine. Now I look forward to that relaxing bottle, errr, glass at the end of the day. (Kidding about the bottle, I swear!)
I'm sure I'll read everyone else's and go, ohhh, that too!

Trader Joe's.....from bread to meat to veggies to tortillas to snacks to drinks. Everything comes from TJ's in our house. I can't imagine not having one!
Starbucks.......gotta have my soy latte everyday. I had one at Nordstrom today and it didn't really do it for me. Will have to head to Starbucks before I get the girls from school today.
Stash tea........specifically black chai spice. I have at least one cup a day, if not many many more.....especially if I don't get to Starbucks early in the day.
Lip gloss.....I have some Cargo duos, Smashbox kits, and another Rocket City one that I can't do without. They are spread all over the house. I also have emergency stashes of Urban Decay, Sephora brand, and a Lip Venom in my car, coat pockets, and in purses. I am never far from a lip gloss.
Foundation.....I, too, am a slave to my foundation. Ugh. It's such a vicious cycle! But now that I have the I.D. bare mineral stuff, my skin is breathing and looks a lot healthier.
Scarves......one of my friends at the Super Bowl party yesterday remarked that she's never seen me with the same scarf twice. I love scarves!! I always have one on, from October to February. I'm a little sad that I'm exiting scarf season.
KMS hair gloss ........my hair is crazy without it.....can't remember the name right now.

Coffee, and lots of it.
The Internet
Our animals, even though they are stinky, too.
Eric, although he could help out more with the stinky animals and stuff.
Books
I'll come up with more as soon as The Girl stops hassling me to go shopping.....

Obviously the Internet....ours went out a few weeks ago...I was without for 2 days! Ack!!! Almost killed me!
Cell phone...when did I become such a slave to it! I'm immediately at a loss when I leave it at home..it's like leaving home without an appendage!
Coffee....my world revolves around coffee! Can't function without it..I'm cranky, moody, likely to cry, tired, listless but too much makes me hyper and jittery and nauseaus! Sad isn't it...it's basically a drug..disguised as food...caffeine is the devil! If I had said, "I can't live with out my daily shot of cocaine..would that be ok?" ...so goes the dilemma! But dang it...it's goooouuuuddd!
Lotion...I can not stand to not be near lotion...have lotion everywhere! A tube by the computer, at the kitchen sink, by the couch, by my bed, in my bathroom, the kids bathroom, my purse, my car! Everywhere...must have lotion. Dry skin is the sign of the devil! ICK!
Carmex...I'm not much into lip gloss and lip sticks...but I can't stand to not have Carmex...tubes and pots can be found in various places...see list above for locations!
Flip Flops...silly I know..but if you took away my flip flop collection, I would hurt you!!!! Now that I live in Tucson, I can wear them year round! Whoo hoo!
And cause I want to appear to be a good Mommie...I couldn't get by without my babies! Love them...love to kiss them...hold them...annoy them! They are mine! And nothing makes me happier than smoochies from them!

Oh geez, put me down for that one too. I left work today and left my phone sitting on my desk. I got about a block away before I realized it.

I have to have my back scratched and my ears rubbed by my honey before I go to bed every night!
And okay, fine, I'll be a good mommy.....I couldn't imagine not getting my daily dose of lovin' from my baby dolls. There's nothing like the smell of Chloe's hair while I read to her and kiss her hot little head. Courtney has the softest lips and Cassidy's squeezes are awesome. They're all love muffins!!!

Waking up next to my monkey, music (especially Aerosmith), my portable MP3/CD player, and of course, crazy bus people - especially "Do you like spaghetti?" Kelly and "Look at THIS!" Leonard.

I've been really into tea lately. I guess I couldn't do without that.
Assam Tea in the morning or Chai Tea.
Green Tea during the day.
Darjeeling at night.
Decaf Green before bed.
:)
Oh, and my Claritin D 24. I can't do without that here in mold country. :)

Everyday I seem to need coffee :coffee: , my phone, a hot shower and music. Not really choosy about any of them though. As long as I wake up it's a good day and I have what I need.
I need Podog too. His snoring just reminded me.

I LOST MY HUGE POST.
Right now, I can't live without a swift kick to my computer. If I could lift it, I would hurl it through my window.
Where's the flippin' aspirin? I need that too!

Something portable to play my music on. I've been a tape mixer ever since I couldn't stand the classical music loop at a job I had 20 years ago. This Christmas I graduated from a portable cassette player plugged into my truck to an iPod! It's the best toy ever, I take it everywhere. It's astonishing to me that most of my music collection can go everywhere I go.
Coffee with Splenda and half-n-half, no powdered creamer! Blecch!
Celphone. I hate realizing I've left the house without it.
Groceries in my fridge. I get a little nutty when I don't have certain things in there. Eggs, bacon, at least one frozen steak, Cardini's Caesar salad dressing, the aforementioned coffee and half-n-half.
Transportation. When my truck is out of commission, I'm hating life. I cover a lot of geography in any given day.
Tivo. (or whatever Dish network calls their version)
My annual pass to Disneyland. Mine expired in early December and the budget hasn't allowed me a new one yet. I'm definitely experiencing Waltdrawals. :( Will trade ThinKrisps for sign-ins!
The feeling of freedom owning my own business has given me. I may still have to pick up a catering gig or odd job here and there, but not having to deal with office politics or other people's timetables or ideas of how things should be done is wonderful.
My business partner. I'd be nowhere, business-wise, without his support and objective viewpoint.
Theatre. It's the thing I know I do best when I'm doing it and I'm lucky enough to get to do as much of it as I physically can.
Metrogel. This last year my roseacea exploded (could it have been the stress of being forced to move by a crazy landlord renovating my building and watching several stores I do business with go out of business?) My face cleared up within the first few days of using this miracle product. And even at $95.00 a tube (no insurance) it was so worth the money.
My friends that help me remember what my priorities are, one day at a time.
Life is good, and I'm happy to have one. :coffee:

How could I forget my AP? Although I don't need it every day. And I didn't mention the internet, but well, duh. :p

Vanilla Coke. We sing your praises, oh nectar of the gods. May your sweet, syrupy goodness bubble and fizz throughout these troubled times. Yea, though I trudge through the office of blatant opression, thy high fructose corn syrup and phosphoric acid they comfort me.

Thanks, though I didn't really go anywhere. Just busy with my show. I usually keep up with the conversations, but I don't always have the time to participate.
You'd be surprised at how busy the Commodore keeps me, hauling his ass all over creation. Lately he's been directing a dinner theatre production of "Side by Side by Pick Two Sides to Go With Your Entree," and understudying in Charles Nelson Reilly's one-man show, "Hellooo Sailor!"

Being Swanky isn't all fun and games. It's hard work, something the Commodore understands all too well...

Coffee (prefereably Pete's), The internet, Sparkling water, the Company of Creative people, and creative stuff - art, music, dance, architecture, cinema, etc. A certain amount of swank, and an occasional brush from something new.
