Glitches cited in early voting (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/local/states/florida/counties/broward_county/15869924.htm)

Well, HEY... here's a surprise!

Debra A. Reed voted with her boss on Wednesday at African-American Research Library and Cultural Center near Fort Lauderdale. Her vote went smoothly, but boss Gary Rudolf called her over to look at what was happening on his machine. He touched the screen for gubernatorial candidate Jim Davis, a Democrat, but the review screen repeatedly registered the Republican, Charlie Crist.

Mauricio Raponi wanted to vote for Democrats across the board at the Lemon City Library in Miami on Thursday. But each time he hit the button next to the candidate, the Republican choice showed up. Raponi, 53, persevered until the machine worked. Then he alerted a poll worker.

That's exactly the kind of problem that sends conspiracy theorists into high gear

Gee, I wonder why?

I was just thinking I've never seen a story on these machines where the republican candidate was selected by the voter while the democrat was displayed by the machine. Anyone else? Unless the system IS rigged, there should be some occurances of repubs swapped for dems.

Anyone?

Lopsided BS story- did anyone bother to find out if someone voting republican found a dem on their confirm screen?

NOOOOOOOOOO

They only spoke to voters voting for dems- one sided story anyone?

This is a shyt stirring story- nothing more. Insulting to anyone's intelligence. If they had spoken to people voting GOP they would have mentioned it- but nope- they WANT to send conspiracy theorists into high gear- so if the GOP wins people can scream FRAUD!

Farkin ridiculous- come ON! Do you really think if someone was rigging elections they would keep doing it in the same state over and over and over again when the tin foil hat spazzes keep freaking out over it?

I guess all those security experts that have written university papers about Diebold systems not being secure enough are "tin foil hat spazzes"

Besides, everybody knows that GOP is the tin foil hat party!

There is a line between someone who does unbiased research and the tin foil hatted spazzes.

That was not the point though- they admit the machines lose calibration-they fix them. The article is still a one side shyt stirrer- and beneath notice.

...and no- last I checked the tin foil hat spazzes who are barking moonbats who think the gov't bombed the WTC on 9/11 or stole all the elections for the past 8 years were all liberal dems.

(watch the crap I get for this opinion) LOL ;) Disclaimer- this is not directed at any member of LoT. If you think the GOP steals elections and the gov't brought down the WTC and do not like being referred to as a barking moonbat modeling the latest tin foil hat styles- bear in mind I and my party have been called many things and accused of much- we just have to deal with it. Nothing personal was meant- so if you choose to get angry- well.....

Well, if *I* wanted to take control of the government I'd first get the tin foil hat club worked up over unrelated and insignificant matters. Then, when I was actually engaging in nefarious activities, no one would pay serious attention to the tin foil cries of alarm.

But that's because I'm evil.

(Because evil is live spelled backwards. And we all want to live, don't we?)

Uh yeah... That's what I was trying to do by asking here.

That's what...

Unless the system IS rigged, there should be some occurances of repubs swapped for dems.

... was all about.

But don't let the question stop your rant.

I'll keep looking.

I was ranting about the article Scrooge- I had literally just read it before seeing you post it here-

But go ahead and take my angst about a poorly written stupid article personally if you like- can't stop you. Just like no one can stop me from loudly pointing out the stupidity of that article. ;)

I would love to see something better written and less lopsided- so if you find it- great.

Hey! Not all of us tinfoil hat wearers think the govt bombed the WTC.. :p

That article is pretty crappily written, but I haven't seen anything from an opposing viewpoint written in any manner that isn't just as highballed shyt stirring crappity crap either.
