Rumor has it that the last 'Remember' fireworks show is tomorrow 11/04. After that, holiday fireworks start up and then apparently the new show starts after that.
Anyone hear the same? Different?

Can you hear me screaming from here?
I missed it on the 20th- my last chance to have seen it.
Gah- good thing I was having a good time in good company at Uva that night- makes up for it.

I'm so glad we had our last perfect fireworks meet! That night was truly a wonderful experience and I am quite content with that being the last time I would see Remember from the optimal viewing area.
I'm also glad ISM, zapppop, and I got to watch Remember from the F! viewing area as a light drizzle fell upon us a few week(s) later. It's amusing when Big Thunder Mtn takes the place of Sleeping Beauty Castle as the show's icon!
The show had a good run and I am happy to have so many great memories associated with it. Now it's time to innovate and redefine! I can't wait to see what they come up with next :)

I've alternately heard that Remember won't return after Christmas and that it will. I'm kinda hoping they do.

I hope it will return! Remember was the most incredible display of pyrotechnics I've ever had the pleasure to witness. Accented only by the good company and prime seating location at the hub thanks to blankets and territorial skill in guarding space by NA.

I've heard both ways as well. I'm really hoping "Remember" comes back in some form. It's such a great show.

Perhaps they will replace it with "Remember, a Million Dreams Fantasy in the Sky".....

The 411 on Remember is it's scheduled to return on January 12th, as well as Parade Of Dreams. There are tentative 'soft openings' for Believe In Holiday Magic on Wednesday and Thursday next week. So it looks like no new fireworks or parade for a while. Also the MSEP is not scheduled for any performances in DCA during the Christmas season. Bah!
I also found out today that Splash Mountain will close for refurb on January 22rd and remain closed til May 4th. Don't know what changes (if any) to expect.

I Think they should call it "Remember, Dreams DON'T Come True" and you can have me swinging around above the castle with light up MIckey ears and a churro! ;)

What the hell is a fireworks soft opening? Are they opening the sky for your viewing pleasure? Why not call it a "preview"?
Voice of God:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, we are sorry, but the fireworks you have been viewing are not quite in their finished form even though we've been showing this same exact fireworks show over the last few years. Everyone, please close your eyes and do NOT, I repeat, do NOT look at the night sky until I announce that correct fireworks are fully operational and exploding. Thank you."

Are you sure that was Remember? ;)
Sorry I didnt' make it out to the Park after all. Best to rest up before mouseadventure. It's a good thing they're (likely) bringing the show back in '07; otherwise I would have had to go.
So .... when are the previews for the show in CP and GD's bedroom??

What are they going to rename the attraction after it reopens a year from now after the next rehab with no more bobsleds?

Though they haven't been bobsleds for a long time anyway, right?

They'll have to do more than just new cars - there'll be a lot of new equipment in the station area for releasing the lapbars...

So I propose that when the fireworks come back they should change the title from
REMEMBER: DREAMS COME TRUE
to
DON'T REMEMBER: THAT THESE WERE ACTUALLY THE 50th FIREWORKS
Seriously!!! Aren't they touting this as part of the Year of A Million Generic DisneyPark Products?

^^ OOOH OOOH I got the NEW LYRICS to the END OF THE FIREWORKS SHOW!!!
*ahem*
Whatever happened to imagination?
When Disneyland was your destination?
Golden ears for Fifty Years
It just ain't over yet
But close your eyes, try to forget...
Every show, every parade, it's coming back
One million dreams, says some dumb marketing hack
It all stayed
F*ck the APs anyway
Don't Remember When......
(sorry if I'm a little off key...) ;)
