I was a little surprised that "Burns, C. Montgomery" was #2, but "Warbucks, Oliver "Daddy" topped the list. Where does your favorite fictional curmudgeon stand on the list (http://www.forbes.com/2006/11/14/forbes-fictional-rich-tech-media_cx_de_mn_mh_06fict15_sort.html)?

Who is Anthony Stark?

ETA: I've never heard of Iron Man (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Man). Obviously, I'm not a comics guy.

Too funny. I guess those gold coins add up for Mario. And Wonka in aerospace, heehee.

Thurston Howell III's profile (http://www.forbes.com/2006/11/20/thurston-howell-money-tech-media_cx_mn_06fict15_gilligan.html) says he has no kids. Not so, (http://imdb.com/title/tt0082502/) says I. I'm a dork.

Heh. #9 cracks me up! I know. I mean, what's he doing on a list of fictional characters? LOL. I'm going to send him that link next time he needs me to email my bank account info. But he's pretty busy, I don't know if he'll have time to correct them, seeing as he hasn't even sent me my money yet.

Where's Archie and the gang?

I KNOW! They could have at least included Veronica Lodge or her father on that list!

Then again, maybe they were #16.

Did they just make up dollar amounts or is there some methodology I'm missing.

I can name many fictional characters worth way more than 30 billion, but they're all from sci fi and generally placed well into the future so NPV may be involved.
