I will be at Disneyland this Saturday!

This will be my first visit in ... hmm, two years? I don't know. But it is my first trip to Disneyland -- during Christmas -- since entering adulthood. I have never seen the Christmas overlay for the Haunted Mansion or It's A Small World, so it should be fun. But besides the aforementioned two, is there anything in particular that I should see? What is good? What do you recommend? What is to-days fish?

And by the way, if anybody spots me, they will get a crisp new $5 bill!

Or, at least, my personal I.O.U. And that note -- is as good as gold, folks. Plus, if you never get the money, you can keep the I.O.U.

I'll give you one hint: I will be wearing a black tweed cap.

Good night and Good luck.

So cool! Have fun! We're busy this Saturday I believe (hmm, need to write things on calendar) but here are some of my must-dos for you to choose from. Yes, I did say "must", but it's really your call, isn't it?

Get a White Hot Chocolate from the Market House on Main Street. Do NOT buy normal hot chocolate from anywhere else, as it's generally crappy. Do not burn your tongue - it's White Hot!

Bring a warm jacket. It get bloody cold outside at night right now (you're not from Back East are you? You're probably laughing at me right now), no matter how sunshiny the day. You may think you know, but you haven't been outside at night for long, have you? In fact, bring gloves and a hat and a scarf. You'll look swanky AND warm, especially if you're all bundled, drinking a White Hot Chocolate, looking at shiny decorations and listening to atmospheric Xmas music. Even a Jew like me loves it. Get a locker if need be.

If you're dressed warmly enough you can ride the train at night. Spooooky. Lots of completely dark spots along the way. It's a rare treat in an over-lit world.

Get there early, and get your must-ride fastpass first thing, so you can work the system all day. It will be crowded.

Don't forget to have an incredible time.

You better hope you don't get NA on your trail. I hear she can track a falcon on a cloudy day and she brings friends. That could be a lot of IOU's.....

Have fun, and I second the montion above: Be sure to get a White Hot Chocolate!

I obviously won't be there (as I don't live there) but I wish you a wonderful time filled with nuns and vagrants.
