Not as large as previous Christmas trees, but this year should be fun as it is Tango's first Christmas tree. :p I'm already prepared for the sacrifice of some ornaments, it's a given, I usually lose one a year on my own.

Now, no pointsettas or mistletoe. Any other Christmas things that are not animal friendly (no tinsel, either). I figure the tree is okay.

Yeah, if you need instructions on "Animal Friendly" Christmas tree's, just watch CHristmas Vacation! ;)

Enjoy the tree!

It can't be as bad a our first tree with 3, 6 month old kittens.

Of course, we're going for a smaller tree this year, probably one that will sit on a table top in the front window. I wonder which fuzzy brat will topple it?

So, tinsel is evil. Aloysious are a piece one year and later was found running about the house at top speed trying to get away from a piece of poo that was stuck to a strand of tinsel and hanging out of his but. It was charming.

LOL I thought I was the only one. Nothing says "holidays" like pulling tinsel out of the cat's butt.

Well, Tango climbed into the tree this morning, knocked it over, which knocked over a 4 panel screen which then knocked over a 6 foot tall (jam packed) cd case. It took my hours to clean them up and my roomie has been a royal bitch about Tango. We lost nothing, amazingly, but it gave her pause to complain about all the pent up stuff she's been stewing about. Today was not a good day, it's one of those days when I ask, why did I come back here to the same apartment? It's going to be a long weekend and sorry to whine.

Our Kitty is acting nutty since we brought in the tree. She sneezed and I hope she isn't allergic. {one sneeze and I think she is allergic... }.

Sorry your kitty caused you some grief today. It is all in a days work. Kitties do quite a lot of things but they are so worth it.

I have never had to pull anything out of a cat's butt. They're on their own at that point. However, I have seen plenty to talk about in the litter box......

Correction: I did need to remove a thermometer the vet left in the cat's recum once. I was wondering whey she was acting so strange.
