I uploaded my photos from my very brief trip to Honolulu (http://flickr.com/photos/61644290@N00/sets/). There are two groups, one of the pictures from the show, and the other is a handful of other pictures.
I need to go back so that I have time to see more things and take more pictures!

Looks like you had a great view of the show to get those pics. So now that you saw them all over the globe, which was the best show?

I was waiting to hear your review!!
How was Pearl Jam??? I just saw Vedder in 'Iconclastic' on the Sundance channel.
Dang, girlfriend, you ROCK!!! :snap: :snap: :snap:
I almost babysat while my niece went. I'd have done it for her as she loves both U2 and PJ.
Wasn't this the end of the tours for both of them? {I've more been following the PJ tour via friends that have gone}.
I agree, excellent photos!!

The show was really great. I'm not much into PJ, but they did put on a great show. Did a great cover of Iz's "Hawaii," which was a huge crowd favorite, as well as a rocking version of The Who's "Baba O'Reilly" that got everyone jumping.
It was a huge lovefest for Edge, with lots of kudos thrown his way from Bono. Billie Joe from Green Day came out and sang "The Saints are Coming" with U2, and then Eddie came out with PJ's guitarist and the two groups did "Rockin' in the Free World." U2 closed out with "All I Want Is You" done in the style of "40" with each member walking off one at a time while we kept singing "All I want is Yoouuuuuuu."
Larry was the last off with the parting words, "Thanks for waiting. See you soon."

I think it is so cool how the musicians hook up like that. Thanks for the review!

Awesome pictures! :) Short as your trip was, it was still Hawaii and it was still U2! Welcome back and Mele Kalikimaka!

OMG, look at that gingerbread display! Was that at the hotel?Yes, that was at a very expensive hotel. Not where I stayed, but close by. Sheraton Moana Surfrider (http://www.moana-surfrider.com/). I hung out there before my flight and listened to a very talented family music group with a daughter named Lilo. :)
