I make it a point to visit the Norad Tracks Santa (http://www.noradsanta.com/en/tracking.php) web site each year, but now another company is giving us messages from Santa.
Call 800.555.8355 and, at the voice prompt, say SANTA. You will get a recorded message from Santa. Actually, today's message is from an Elf I've never heard of (but someone out there might have).

And then you can ask for Stock Quotes or Sports Scores - Santa's branching out

Speaking of Norad - I was wathing a holiday myths show yesterday. Apparently that all started with a typo in an ad to call and talk to Santa. It was accidentially Norad's phone number. The guys there didn't want to dissapoint the kids who were calling so they answered and started the tracking thing.

Would Norad's phones work differently than the rest of the country's? It's not like NORAD is a secret installation that doesn't officially exist. According to the Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NORAD_Santa_tracking_program) it predates NORAD by a few years (when it was just CORAD) but has the same gyst.

But really I was just be my facetious self. It just sounded so strange to me, like someone calling the private number of the president and asking him if his refrigerator is running. And then sending a dozen pizzas at 2 am.
Here's the phone number for the White House. I'm guessing George won't answer but you can ask for him: 202-456-1414
