I'm still on the fateful learning curve with my Mac. There are times when I want to perform a task that I rarely do any longer and I get thrown for a loop.

Today's issue: Printing CD labels.

I normally would just do this in Word, but Mac Word doesn't seem to have a pre-set option for CD labels. I did some research online and found that, by following a set of very complicated proceedures using both illustrator and Photoshop, I can creat CD labels that way.

There MUST be an easier way! If I have to open 2 ginormous programs to just print a CD label, I'm moving over to Chris' PC to do it. (Which I may have to do anyways since my printer appears to no want to feed paper any longer.)

Please share your secret with me.

NA,

I can't test this program out because I don't have a printer, but I did find this, it's a free download and I figured it's worth a shot. The absolute best CD/DVD labeling program for the mac is discus (http://www.magicmouse.com)
Get version 3, which is easy to use and stable. Version 4 has been "coming soon" for over a year.

If you are using Avery labels, you didn't look hard enough. Check this link (http://www.avery.com/us/Main?action=software.PDDownload&catalogcode=WEB01&softwarecode=11907). You download an Avery Word template.

Hi SiL-
In Word, try Tools - Labels - Options - Product #5824 CD label.

Good luck!
