Anyone Interested in an investment club?

One of my resolutions for this year is to do a better job managing my finances. While doing a bit of research I ran across this article on how to setup an investment club (http://www.fool.com/InvestmentClub/StartingAClub.htm). It made me think. We have a pretty good diversity of people here, we might just make a good club. Is anyone else interested?

If there is some interest then we can start a more formal process of looking at what's involved and how it would be structured.

Can it be a profitable investment club? I'm not interested in the other kind. :) This could be the stepping stone to finance the commune.
