I'm on a PC, my browser is Firefox...
When my pointer points at a word, a window pops up containing the translation of the word in Spanish.
How do I get rid of that?
¡ Muy molesto !

Look upon this as a learning opportunity. Great avatar!

Did you try to go into Tools->Options->Advanced and look at the "Languages" section?

Go to Tools --> Add Ons. In the extensions tab of the window that pops up list what is there, if anything.

Thanks. It's from a Frontierland attraction poster.

Okay, I tried what you suggested and only English is selected... and I still have the Spanish thingie happening.
Go to Tools --> Add Ons. In the extensions tab of the window that pops up list what is there, if anything.
It says there are no add ons except Google Toolbar and Gooole Web Accelerator...
Spanish still occurring...

Weird, no?

I just figured it out. After going to add ons like Alex suggested, I decided to look at Google Toolbar options. That's where the problem is. It's called the Word Translator. I disabled it.
Now there are no problemos.

Actually that sounds like such a cool (and possibly educational) feature that I'm going to enable it when I get home!

It's a totally cool feature, but there are so many things that "talk" to me on my laptop as it is. Norton can't stop talking, Gmail notifier keeps blabbing, the wireless notifier keeps telling me my signal is strong... each with a cartoon bubble that pops up...
:D
