3 things. 1) Judging from people's reactions and the bit of movement we can see through the window before he smashed into the showroom it looks like he did some damage outside first. 2) Good advertisement for Nissan, that loaner car he used took a pretty good beating and kept on going. 3) 3 brand new cars, a loaner car, and damage to the showroom = $33,000? I heard on a podcast where the electric vehicles are too silent for the hearing impaired and the idea was brought up about downloadable engine tones to help the hearing impaired with traffic navigation as they stand on a street corner getting ready to cross. so it wouldn't be such a wild idea...instead of ring tones for sale, engine revs and purrs via the i-tunes store. :tiki:

I used to work for a software company. One day, one of our salesmen brought in his home computer for us to look at. The salesman was a VERY heavy smoker and when the poor tech opened the case up, there was a half inch layer of dark orange fuzz covering everything inside. It was so vile the tech had to bring the computer outside to clean it.

Yes, practically the whole movie was filmed in and around El Mio. I never heard of the first "Insidious," but I'm sure going to see the sequel.

Personally, I think El Mio made a better haunted house when it was fire-ravaged, in the era of the original Dead Man's Party - but I suppose it would not work for one of those "innocent family buys a house that's haunted" movies.

It still doesn't work for me, because one look at El Mio screams Haunted House - except, well, it's not.
