View Full Version : You Knit WHAT?!?
The hubbo's bday is coming up. Can you tell from the photo what I made him? Now, remember: it's drying flat and needs a few seams. Can you see what it is? (http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e192/Helen_3894/Tomsbday003.jpg)
Hint: I made him a hat to go with. (http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e192/Helen_3894/Tomsbday001.jpg) (Me modeling it.)

The proximity of the pincushion makes me uncomfortable.
Will this be a drawstring affair, or will it stay up through sheer willpower?

I know what it is. :D
My first thought when seeing the photo was, "Uh oh, Nala is much too close to that knitting."
I love the photo of you in the hat. You know when they're both done you're going to have to recreate the book cover, right?

Darn you, 3894, I did not need to know that knitty.com existed. Is my UFO pile not large enough already?

Dunno, but if he were smart you could call him a Knitwit.

So, are you gonna tell us what it is?
I need to learn to make hats before our Oregon trip. So far I've done a scarf. I love the hand dyed yarn shops that we have out here. You can really tell the difference between a high quality yarn and the stuff you get at Michael's. If I could knit and read at the same time life would be perfect.

Audiobooks ;)

When I saw it pinned out like that, it looked like a knitted briefie. So, of course, I thought of you guys.
In fact, Not Afraid guessed right: it's a dog sweater for the beagle and matching hat for Tom. My kids are sick about this. The design is from Men Who Knit and the Dogs Who Love Them. Yep, it's an actual book - check amazon and you'll see the very same design on the cover.

Find them? I already picked out which yarn I'm using to knit them!
