A coworker with whom I IM frequently throughout the day on various things works out of Baltimore.

She hasn't appreciated my occasional IM'ed complaint about how cold it is here (it isn't anywhere near what I consider cold but looking at people you'd think it was), only getting up to the high 50s today.

It was 82 at disneyland yesterday.

Ahhh, to be warm in the middle of winter AND be at the happiest place on earth.

And today, you have an expired AP, right?

But, I know, it's balmy here, about 70 degrees, sunny and cloud mix, pretty much a perfect day. I'm just sad I can't go see the QE2 in SF tonight. :( Gorgeous moon, she will be sailing away.

I was just chatting with my friend in Scotland about it being 90 in LA yesterday. He didn't seem amused, I think he needs more sun.

Nope. We caved at 11:35 pm.

Personally I hate California in winter, but it sure does annoying people in other parts of the country easy.

We've got manly lumberjack weather up here. Yesterday it was negative 20, too cold to start the schoolbuses so no school. Today it's negative 15 and apparently the schoolbuses can start.

Right now, my weather widget says it's 14 F. Yesterday we had some pretty wicked windchill going. My soon to be former office is in an old building that has window air conditioning units. The wind was blowing directly in through those yesterday, so we all had our tiny space heaters going.

So, I feel for all our friends East of the Rockies, yikes but the remps are brutal! 10 degrees in Warrenton, VA this morning, snow expected tonight. How's everyone else doing? Moonliner?

Yikes! That has got to be illegal! I vote for larger space heaters for you all and loads of hot chocolate. Bundle up!

We have an office in Dallas and an office in Chicago.

Both are having freezing weather. I want their snow but I will just have to settle for the beach

When you could be staring out the window at a frozen cornfield and be drinking atrazine-polluted water? When you could be slipping on ice, possibly falling and cracking your tailbone? When you could be wearing thermal undies?

Hah! You Californians are just sick with jealousy.

Nope, I confess it, I am so happy to be back in the Bay Area, I positively stink with smarmyness about it.

That said, we never got a really great snow in the 7 years I was in VA. Nothing more than a day or a few hours of pretty when I really wanted a blizzard.
