No chance to make a trip south for a visit. Paid an overdue visit to Mice Chat to see if this would help, it didn't. Any suggestions?

Today, things suck.

Odd. I was just thinking the very same last night. I think I need a DL fix. Last few times Ive been there have been to say the least memorable...hell, downright magical. (thanks to all you folks who made it to say the very least special)

I think Im due.

Why don't you dig into the mousepod archives and listen to the 50th (http://mousepod.com/mousepod-archive/)?

And I enjoyed meeting you last February, yikes it's been forever!

Unless and until I get my tax situation resolved, I'm on a major crunching budget and no side trips. :(

I'll have to do that at home. The big brother internet police at the office won't let us download squat. I type in the mousepod URL here and get nothing but a message that says, Oh no you don't, you're damned and going to hell if you even think you're going to try and download something of an mp3 variety. Go sit in the corner or better yet, get off the internet and do some work.

I guess I'm glass half empty today.

...and I have to admit that when I was there in October I overdosed. Honest to goodness if Lashbear was not coming in and I am so happy to go see him I would dodge DL for a year or so.

Isn't that sad? I OD'd on DL?? :(

How much could it cost? Gas for the drive and food. You've got the Hotel Swank at your beck and call.

This is true, I am coming for the Lashbear meet in April. But I do need a DL day, soon!

Yes, I can't imagine! If I lived in LA and went more than once a month, maybe, but honey, you're out of state!

Whenever I get really stressed I get the Disneyland blues.

I've got 'em something awful right now.

Nickolas is doing everything he can think of to get me to head down there. He started with the, "We don't even have to go in the parks, but hang out around DTD," to, "You know Mom, we only need to buy 2 passes, not 3."

I get those blues quite often. We did not plan to go at all this year (we're building a new garage instead) but now I've got my friend and I coming down for MA :) Mom's weekend away, here we come :)

I feel for you! I finally had to get my fix last night and went to the Park. I feel MUCH better.

Things have been extremely stressful for me lately and going to the Park really just made me sleep better, wake up in a good mood and just be less stressed! THANK YOU D-Land.

I cannot wait. I think the prospect of DL gets me through these long winters- I can really see why so many from up here go snowbird. We were originally planning on 4 days down there, but now it's up to 6.:D

Oh, it'll be more than just today. I feel like a junkie. I'm sitting here listening to park music online and I can't tell if it's helping or making things worse. I crave that flavor of escapism to a degree that is probably unhealthy, but I have no plans to direct my attention elsewhere.

Yes, I can't imagine! If I lived in LA and went more than once a month, maybe, but honey, you're out of state!

I don't know how to describe it:

2001- DL 5 days
2003- DL 9 days
2004- WDW 10 days DL 4 days
2005- WDW 5 days DL 1 day
2006- DL 4 days

Last time I was there I was alone- and I went from open to close some days. I went on HMH so much the snow started to look like fabric batting and I realized I had reached a saturation point.

I will be there again this year- 3-4 days again....but I don't feel any driving need to get there this time. I feel sated for once :)

Odd huh? Do I lose my Disney Geek status for this?

"You know Mom, we only need to buy 2 passes, not 3."I guess there is a silver lining to all dark clouds, huh? ;)

Oh, and that's one smark kid you got there, better keep an eye on him!
