New Miyazaki movie!?

My son and I were just at the store and he found a Miyazaki movie for me, Lupin the III The Castle of Cagliostro. I had never seen or heard of it before, so he bought it for my Valentines present. I can't wait to watch it!

Has anyone heard of this movie? I wasn't expecting the new one until 2009.

The front cover has a quote "...One of the greatest adventure movies of all time" Steven Spielberg.

I know there are other Miyazaki fans here so I thought I'd share my find!

It's from 1979 (pre-Ghibli), but don't let its vintage fool you. It's a lot of fun. You can find info about the movie right here (http://nausicaa.net/miyazaki/lupin/).

Yes, far from new ... it's the OLD stuff. Get over the stylistic differences, and you'll find a really fun film. One of my quirky faves, in fact.
