Okay, I pulled out my new AP, which is a temp AP since I did it by mail. I'm going to assume when I get to DL on April 1st (or sooner) the CM at the gate will tell me (politely) where to go to get the real card, right?

Since the card I hold now is only good for 1 day and if it's a one day use card only, they'd better let me do two things, ride the Lillian Belle and into Club 33 with several of my newest close friends. ;)

You'll be directed to the Main Street Bank to have your photo taken and receive your permanent card. My advice is to try to show up close to park opening, or else you'll have the joy of carving out ~45 minutes of your day to standing in line for that.

Okay, good idea. Maybe I should go to the park a day or so early and get this done on weekday. The Lashbear meet is April 1, I can easily be down there a couple of days prior, it's not like the LA area does not hold other appealing adventures for me. Thanks!

The last time I had a Disneyland AP (2005-6), I went to the Main Street Bank about 30 minutes before park closing the day before the meet. It would have been perfect except for a psychotic family that stood in line just before me. I think I'm going to try it again this time...

Thanks and I have to say, I do like corndogs with mustard (does this make me a heretic of the corndog set?)

Yes, I belive they allow the holder of the temp. AP to have dinner at club 33, followed by desert on the Lilly Belle. Enjoy!

I thought that a temp AP card let you crash on the couch in Walt's apartment? ;)

The last time I got an AP I went to DCA and it was really fast.
I don't remember now if they have a camara or not but if they do the line is much faster than at the bank. :)
And if not you can spend o' about 20 minutes enjoying every single thing DCA has to offer:evil:

Ha! Well, I've not yet been to DCA, good to know all I have to do is give it 20 minutes (in the line for Monsters Inc?)

Welcome Frodo Potter, BTW.
