On Saturday, I walked by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, made a flippant remark about "breathing in the air around the ride" - and it went 101...

Next, we headed to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

While waiting in a tiny line, I made the comment "This is one of the few rides I haven't been walked off of"

Well, just as we approached the Birthday celebration - the vehicle stopped, then EVERYTHING stopped. Work lights came on, the hidden exit signs lit up.

Dreams really do come true! :D

Darkbeer got some really funny pics of me with the hunny pot, and the Board of Lies (Wait Times) - posting Space Mountain and Big Thunder as being temporarily closed.

At least your pictures get posted. That is my family curse! Rides pics get lost in another dimension.

Glad you had a fun day otherwise.

Not counting getting taken out of the boat before the ride really starts, I've been walked off of a total of one ride - Alice. Near the very end.

Yawn.

Got walked off Pinocchio, but it was CM training week. And a bunch of Fantasyland CM'S were being trained.

Edited to add:
I forgot I was stuck on Grizzly River Rapids for 4 hours. Then a CM engineer came over and pretended like he was interested in what we had to say and then launched us down the fall, because we were stuck against a safety gate. The water rushing underneath was so loud.

The only ride I have been walked off of is Its a Small World, when we were too heavy and a CM came and got me off to take another boat. However, I did ride part of Space Mountain with the lights on when it went 101.

I was walked off the Peoplemover once, shortly before it closed. It might have been a dream come true ... had we not been 30 yards from the station, and had to sit in our pod for nearly an hour while guests way further out got to walk the entire length of the Peoplemover track.

Fine!

Ahem.......we sank two POTC boats (I think on this very day last year) Ahem....we sure as heck didn't swim off. Of course, we were not really in the ride having been 101'd at the first drop.

I've gone through space twice with the lights on. Once pre-refurb and once after. I haven't really been walked off of anything that I remember.

Maddy got her head stuck in the fence at the Tomorrowland Train station and the had to get her out with bolt cutters. Does that count?

It's weird, I wanted to say "but he's not a CM!", then I realized it's his initials! :D

I forgot I was stuck on Grizzly River Rapids for 4 hours. Is that true, or was it 45 minutes that seemed like 4 hours? Seems like someone being stuck on a ride that long would be news worthy or require emergancy rescue. Particularly on an incline. That's no small inconvienance either and should result in some sort of decent compensation. And I'm not talking one head of the line pass!

My best ever ride breaking down day, though, was at Six Flags Great America - in one day, I was evacuated from 3 coasters, stuck on the sky ride for 20 minutes, AND got to visit First Aid when I twisted my ankle while exiting a broken down flat ride (I think it was Fiddler's Fling).

I've been walked off POTC three times - all from the same exact spot for the same exact reasons (see below). Twice before the refurn and once after. I've also had Indy go 101 right in the boulder room (did you know that the boulder NEVER stops spinning?). It was cool to see the twelve massive subwoofer cabinets (EV quad 15's) but disappointing to see them wired with 16 gauge solid core wire - WTF?!?

We broke Space last night - and it was my fault. My two youngest had never been and wanted to go, I was excited because I never get to go. I figured I would head off a potential issue by asking who would sit with me and who would sit alone (we broke HM this way, notice a trend?). I got a volunteer for each position. My son was a little apprehensive, but luckily we recognized one of the CMs we met last summer who lives near our complex. He was really good at putting my son's fears at ease. We got up to the loading point and as we were about to board, my daughter got cold feet and decided she wanted to ride with us. As you know, only 2 fit in a row, so we were hosed. I pulled us out of line to talk to the CM and ask if I could ride with one, and then the other. She started rearranging other CMs so she could ride with my daughter which I thought was really cool. Unfortunately, I think this upset the flow of things and pretty soon the ride was locked up, and they had to restart everything from scratch.

I felt pretty bad, after we got loaded and were sitting there, it was our friend CM who was having to cycle through the cars to get them started again. He was in the main control room, looking down at us. I hope he didn't figure out it was our fault. I'm sorry. :(

Speaking of Space, when it re-opened after the long refurb, several LoTers went for a ride. Specifically, there were thirteen of us. I remember this because only 12 fit into a rocket. Poor Gn2Dlnd was the odd man out. We figured that he would just get shuffled onto the next rocket full of people. Nope - they gave him a rocket all to himself! It was very funny to turn around and see him sitting in the front row all by himself :D

Anywho... The Lot rocket made a LEFT turn after the loading area - we got to go back stage. The CMs were trying to tell us that the reason was that the music wasn't working on this rocket. We let them know that we knew the problem was weight, but we had fun with it anyways.

So we got to go back stage on that day. We were all laughing hysterically and having the times our lives. The engineers back stage thought we were all nuts. We took TONS of photos and then for some reason, when they walked us around to re-load, they split us up and put us on separate rockets. Hmm... I wonder why they did that?
