I guess it does fit in with the whole green theme of St. Patty's Day...

If it's anything like the WDW version, it's a lot of fun, but certainly not worth a looong wait.

I didn't know Buzz was Irish? or maybe its the LGMs?

That's good news in the sense that there will be something in Tomorrowland to do some crowd absorbing. I want to like this ride, I really do, but I'm very skeptical. It just doesn't sound all that endearing.

Nothing depicts an optomistic view of tomorrow like blasting space aliens into oblivion.

I wasn't really thrilled by WDW's version. It was ok for a one-time ride, but not a favorite.

Why can't we get a new favorite?

I'd bet it would be Soft Opened during that weekend. :)

I seem to recall something in the original releases or conversations about the Buzz ride regarding some sort of interactive experience with the ride via the internet.

Does anyone else remember anything like that? Or am I way off?

huh, im amazed at everyones distaste for the ride, i completely enjoyed it, it was definetly a different ride for disney, it wasnt one that followed the traditional trends, it was very interactive and fun.

I do, for the sake of disneyland, hope they do not EXACTLY reproduce what is at WDW, at least change it up a bit.

either way, im still excited.

Buzz in Florida is about as interactive as any half broken display in Innoventions.

There's a far better light gun dark ride at Castle Park.

Maybe I'm spoiled, but Disneyland should have gotten something AT LEAST as special as Men In Black: Alien Attack at Universal Studios Orlando.

Update: Soft openings for Buzz start tomorrow (Monday the 28th), but only for a few hours. (Frankly, I am gonna wait till they soft open it on a regular basis in a week or two).

I might have to sneak down there the 7th (do you think they'll give me a birthday sticker a day early?)

Yawn.

Exactly the way I feel. The prospect of a new ride should have me really excited but for some reason, this just doesn't seem appealing. I hope I've underestimated it.

Astro Blasters? (What, no spin? The spin's all I got--I'm terrible, terrible at shooting aliens!)

If it's anything like WDW's, bring earplugs for the queue.

I always heard that it was going to be more like Tokyo's version than WDW. Did that change?

Not as funny as when we were discussing the Soft Opening of Pooh.

I lovingly call it the "Fu Man Pooh" ride, and if you need an expanation of that one please don't ask me. :p

I always heard that it was going to be more like Tokyo's version than WDW. Did that change?Someone mentioned that--I don't know a thing about it. Nor do I know a thing about Tokyo's version.

All I know is that on WDW's version, I stink at shooting the aliens, and I think the queue is unbearably loud. Disney seems to be tending towards noisiness lately, so I wouldn't be suprised if Anaheim's queue has the same snare drum track playing just a few clicks too LOUD.

Well, I do plan on spending that day in the park... :)
