Yeah I know - another Lash thread, but damn it, today the pair leave the Disneyland resort of our neighborhood to take on some of the other sights of California - As they should.

Myself, I confess to being a bit misty eyed over their departure. Their extended stay here has been a delight in every way and Bear and Stoat was been real troopers indulging us in all our meets, rendezvous, and parties. (honestly, I wonder if they could have survived any more days with us - we've been running them ragged). I'm so glad they decided to share their time with us.

- sniff -

Thanks Rob & Greg - I can't wait to hear and see tales of your further adventures and look forward to sharing some again in the future.

Cheers Mates! and Bon Voyage!

Adieu, Lash Pair. Enjoy the rest of our beautiful state. Your tour of California is everything DCA hoped to be (but failed miserably at).

Say 'Hi' to Bugs for me at Pismo Beach, will ya?

Make sure you have your passports handy when you try to get back to San Diego from Tijuana. I truly hope the weather clears up for your voyage up the coastline ... some of the most beautiful nature of America.

Speaking of which ... let me give one more plug for Yosemite Valley, absent which your tour of California will never be complete (and, drats ... then you'd be forced to come back!). There's no coaster there ... but I did see someone take the plunge from the world's 3rd tallest waterfall. Granted, he didn't survive .... but it's a challenge for the right thrillseeker!!

In any event, I don't think you'll be able to leave your hearts in San Francisco. I still feel them beating here in L.A., and I guess I always will. Thanks for hanging around SoCal long enough to touch my heart. It was a pleasure and a privilege to share some of your incredible journey. Your stamina and spirit are inspiring.

God Speed, Rob and Greg. Love you boys.

Rob and Greg, your presence will be missed. You have been a true joy to have around and I still wish you could remain permanently.

I think Greg deserves extra kudos. He came here not really knowing anything about us. While Rob is a regular poster, you came in on almost blind faith and embraced this crowd without a single hesitation. You instantly fit in and we all fell in love with you!!!

And lastly, I have to say that these two are the cutest couple! Susan and I were fortunate enough to have them to ourselves, if only for the brief half-hour drive to Casa Swank last Saturday. What a charming and delightful pair you two are!

I hope we didn't completely wear you out. After last night, it is obvious that you will need a vacation to recover from this one!

Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a safe flight home.

Love, Kevin and Susan

Ken and I miss you already. :(

You're like cousins to us - it's like we've known each other for much longer than we have.

Rob & Greg, please know that you will always have family across the seas.

(Now, who's up for a swanking Down Under? ;) )

I'm so sad that school and another trip kept me from meeting you two, but it sounds as though I missed out in a big way. Sad for me, but good for the rest of you.

Good luck and safe journeys to the both of you, and may I be fortunate enough to gain a second chance.

We are so lucky to have such an eclectic - and international - mix of friends here on LoT! It's like we scoured the world and brought together the finest people.

I feel so blessed to be able to spend some time with our wonderful Aussies. What wonderful and charming boys they are! I haven't laughed so hard and had so much fun at DL an other environs in ages. Rob and Greg fit with us all like a natural extention and it's hard to believe it may be a while before we see them again. I miss you guys and hope we can meet again - be it in America, Australia or Japan - very soon!

Sorry we missed the send off, we had other world travelers to attend to. But I'm so happy we managed to get as much time in with the bear-pair as we did. It never ceases to delight me (in a decidedly non-ghoulish way) to make that leap from online to reality, especially with 4 years of anticipation. Hope you're enjoying your continued tour of our fair country state, and hopefully the whirlwind of activity hasn't forever scarred poor Stoat.

I can hardly wait for them to arrive in the Northern climes. I'm so looking forward to meeting both bear and stoat. I've got some pics in my head all set to take, beautiful backdrops for the two to pose in front of.

I'm all set to take a day off just so I can spend one with them romping through our fair city.
