View Full Version : The Girls Next Door
Do you love this show? I do.
Do you think there are two couples (Heff/Holly, Bridget/Kendra)? I do.

I love this show. Goodness where to start. Can Kendra really be that incredibly stupid? I honestly think so. I have no idea how she has made it this far in her life without being hit by a train or something.
I hadn't thought about it being two couples but you could be right. Holly definatley is in charge. And she wants a baby which Hef has sort of said definately maybe to. Not sure why you'd want to have a kid with an 81 year old guy you call "puffin" but whatever.
In fact I'm not sure why you'd want to do any of it but they all seem to know what they're getting into so whatever floats your boat.

Forgive me, but I have not heard of this show.
What network? What day?
I also have never heard of this show. But once in my youthier days I was a subscriber to a Web site with such a name.
I'm guessing they aren't related.

It's on E. It's a reality show showing the lives of Hugh Heffners three current live-in girlfriends, Holly, Bridget and Kendra. New Episodes are I believe on Sundays but they show here and there all week. Currently in Season 2 and I read they're already shooting season 3.

I'm guessing they aren't related.
The show focuses on the life and times of three girls living at the Playboy mansion. The three are all billed as being Heff's girlfriends but, well you can see the speculation above...
More stuff I love because it's outrageous:
Their retro-platinum hair
Holly's 27th bday party where Hef is really the only man (except for the prize winner and he's with his wife so he doesn't count). Every other guest was a retro-babe. And then - icing on my cake - Holly says "All these hot girls" came to her party. The girl was born in 1980 and she seems to completely buy into Hef's taste.
The idea that Hef would be at all attracted to Kendra.

don't forget Kendra accidentially sitting on Holly's cake.
And all those dogs and cats, goodness they each have three or four.
It's also fun when the "old" (cause they're like 26) girlfriends drop by for whatever party. Gets a smoochie hostile. Holly was not pleased when Barbie Benton dropped in.
Saturday there was an old Cribs on MTV2. It must have been a few years old. Holly was definately staking out her territory as queen bee. There were somthing like 6 other "girlfriends" at the time. Bridget was one of them but Kendra wasn't there.
I don't get the Kendra attraction either. She must be really good cause she has to be one of the most annoying people on the planet.

We TiVo "The Soup," so the channel lands on E! until we change it. So I caught a brief moment of "Girls Next Door" this weekend, and was astonished that one of them compared herself to Mae West.
Suuuure, lady. You aren't a writer. You can't quip. You're pretty vapid. You aren't as curvaceous. (Of course, West's curves were faked, and she was described as "dumpy" off the job.) Good luck with the Mae West bit.

I'll never think of Helen the same way again!
