Everyone must try this (http://labs.google.com/goog411/), if it's available in your area, that is.

I've used it a couple of times and it is spot-on. Understood me just fine the first time. Totally intuitive, easy to use, hands free, no charge to connect, you don't need an internet phone....it doesn't get any better.

OK, that looks cool!

That's cool, but I think I've used information once in the last decade and it wasn't the cost stopping me so I don't know that I have any use for it.

"pet supplies" and it'll give you the nearest Petco. I haven't tried it for restaurants yet but oh the possibilities...

Many of the information services will do that too.

Wow, I can be just a little less bitter. The service actually works out here on the right coast. Of course now I want pizza for lunch so that's a downside....

Yeah, and these days the internet is so close by that if I really want to look something up I generally can without too much trouble and will have a lot more confidence in the answer.

But since this is free I'll probably play with it and put it in my phonebook for possible use.

We don't have nav in our car, and internet access on our phones is a nightmare, so this is a great alternative.
